If you want to start developing a real taste for beers, why not try different kinds with different foods...light beer tastes great with pizza and nacho's and fried seafood when a heavier ale tastes great with steak and other heavy meats. Do it in moderation and hopefully you'll find a beer you enjoy! xoxo

Beer is it's own taste and every beer tastes different really maybe you have just tried the cheap disgusting beers try an IMport like Beck's or Hieneken they are pretty good and many small microbreweries have awesome beer since your most likely in the States try some Sam Adam's or if you have not tried it yet get some Sleemans Honey Brown oops that may only be here in Canada. Anyways try the imports even Corona is better then alot of US beers just remember a slice of lime makes it so much better.
I'm not into beers that much myself thats why I'll have a Smirnoff ice or a Crown and Coke before a beer unless a beer is just handy.
Open your mind try different beers you may find some you really like and PS Budwieser sucks of course personal opinion after taste is just gross. 90% of beer drink cold colder the better.

I would definitely suggest starting off with classier beer. Try different flavors until you find a few that you enjoy. Once you get used to different aspects of the beer you can increase the variety a little and start trying the more common beer that you'll find at parties.

Beer tastes really good when your really thirsty.
American Lager beers (Bud, Coors, Miller and their light counterparts) were formulated during WW2 to appeal to women (no men around to drink them). I would start with one of those after a hot day of working outside.
Beer also goes really well with certain foods, pizza for example. I couldn't eat sushi without a Sapporo, just wouldn't taste right.
If you have a Texas Roadhouse restaurant around where you live, belly up to the bar - get a beer on tap and sit and eat peanuts - another good combo.

Just don't drink anything with the words "budweiser," "keystone," "coors," "busch," "light," or "ice" in it. Maybe grab a Sam Adams variety pack and try out a few of them that sound good to you because there are lots of different kinds and most all of em are delish. Double Bock and Cream Stout are my personal favorites. Make sure it comes in a bottle too because beer in cans is just nasty unless that's all you have.

I figured that this question would be flooded with answers. Basically...yeah it is an aquired taste. Start off with light American beers (your Bud, Coors, Miller) and work your way up from there, then agian you may never like beer and there is extremely cheap vodka out their....good luck.

I use to never like beer either...but vodka was getting expensive. I started trying the more fruity beers like the Leinenkugel's brand they have some good ones and my favorite is Berry Weiss. Once you start liking that you can start moving into other beers! good luck!

I usually cannot drink beer until I'm halfway drunk anyways... things always taste better that way. Me, I stick to things like Smirhnoff twisteds and hard ice tea (completely affordable)... they taste better but have the same alcohol content. I've never gotten "used" to the taste of beer, but there are tasty alternatives, check those out!

first, get it in a glass. no it doesnt come in one, thats called a bottle. then try better beers. all the big beers are pretty bad. try all the stuff whose name you've never heard. and any beer that needs to be ice cold to drink is a bad beer
