I have MS Office 2003 on my computer, but a trial version of Office 2007 came on the computer. When someone recently e-mailed me a Word document in the 2007 form, my computer began to automatically open all my Office documents in 2007. How do I make these documents open in 2003 once again?

Let me assure you 2007 is a lot better---not a lot of people have it right now. 2007 will open anything under it. 2003 will not open 2007 unless you have the patch. 2007 works a lot better if you are using Vista. 2003 was designed for XP. I would try it out. You can tell it to save your files in 2003 format and it will.

1. Remove office 2007 from your computer.

2. install the Office 2007 Compatibility Patch for Office 2003 from Microsoft on you computer.
