I am a recent bachelor and am fixing up my home entirely. I really found out that I am terrible at it but am trying. The living, dining, kitchen and family room are all kind of connected in my two story home. I painted light neutral colors that look pretty good I think (bhr paint - desert rose and Day Spa are the color names). I just ordered really nice cabinets (I hope) that are called "shaker honey spice" which is a lighter oak. Should my new wood laminate floor be a bit darker than the cabinets? Can anyone suggest a good laminate or color that would be decent. I really dont like the darker woods but in between is ok.
Any help is appreciated as I am struggling with this whole decorating thing!!

I have some of that spray snow and I would like to have some stencils to use as a guide. I was thinking something like snowflakes, santa, reindeer, gingerbread men and such. I would like to find a website that would let me print out free stencils. I went to about.com and they had some but most looked hand-drawn and were kind of cheesy. Anyone know of any other sites I could try? Thanks!

I read somewhere (on the internet, I think) that if your dog's ears are really hot and the nose is warm and dry it is an indication of a fever. Basically it said: hot ears and dry nose = sick; normal ears and cold, wet nose = well. Is this true? Just wondering. Thanks.

The skin on my hands is so dry they just crack and bleed, it hurts so bad, this only happens in the wintertime. I tried Johnson's baby lotion and that just made it worse, what's the best thing to use?

Is it bad installing the printer on a laptop? We tried it on our older version of HP and it was working back then, then we thought that printer broke because it just wouldn't print. So my mom bought a new printer, HP 900, but everytime we install it, the laptop shuts down.

I have an almost 3 weeks old daughter whom I am breastfeeding. I don't feel like my milk production is that great. She's definately getting enough to keep her full and growing, she's gained 1/2 a lb in one week! However I am planning on returning to work in Jan and wish to continue keeping he ron breast milk but when I try and pump I get hardly anyting and it winds up leaving me close to empty so if the baby gets hungry after I've pumped I don't have enough and have to turn right around and give her what I had just pumped out.... Is there anyway to boost my milk production up?

I am 19 years old and i met this guy that i work with who is 26. He got my number for work purposes and ever since then we have been texting each other. We would be flirting and i figured he liked me. So one night i went over to his house and he made me dinner and one thing led to another that we made out. I intitated the kiss, ( which i never done before) this is when i found out that he felt like a petifile and it couldnt go futher then this.

After this, we havent been texting as much, and then one night we started too and i spent the night at his house, nothing happened we just cuddled. then the texting stop and started up again, that night i spent the night again. but this time, he kissed me and mention that he couldnt resist me, but he said i cant come over his house cause he doesnt want to get tempted..

This is what I believe, tell me if you think it's okay.

I'm a Christian who believes the most important commandments were to love God, and love your neighbor as you love yourself. That's what it says in the Bible.

I don't go to church except on the occasional holiday, or funerals and baptisms.

I try reading the Bible everyday. I focus on the New Testament. Particularly Christ's word.

I try to love God with my heart and pray as often as I can. I let faith, hope, and particularly love guide my choices. I always forgive those who offend me. I pray for my enemies. I love everyone, even the lost.

My goal in life is to just love my friends in family with all my heart as long as God allows me to do so.

I was recently told off by a local Christian who told me I was a Liberal Christian and the reason the church is losing its power. He basically told me that dogma and strict religious traditions were more important than my loving philosophy.

Do I seem like a good Christian?
