God doesn't go against His Word in the Holy Bible.
God the Father, God the Son & God the Holy Spirit are in agreement.
When one is born of God they are sealed of the Holy Spirit who leads into all truth and brings to mind what the Father / Son has said. So? Sometimes it is scripture recall. Of course the devil can give a scripture also. Since the devil did that when he tempted Jesus in the wilderness.
So? The Holy Spirit will confirm in your spiritman that it is God the Father or God the Son or an Angel or a demon. Demons basically feel discomforting. So? When you feel discomforted, ask God why. Then it could be that you need to do something different, or it could be an oppressing Spirit. But it takes practice & praying first thing in the Morning & reading Gods Word & find out who God is by hearing & hearing a Word about Christ / God. Faith comes from God. And faith comes from hearing & hearing a Word about Christ / God.
If God were to tell me to do something against His Word, like go kill my neighbor because he just purchased the best car & thinks he is so cool... I would know it wasn't God. How? Because the devil is the destroyer & would ask me to kill someone. God already said & it is written in the bible to love my neighbor as I love myself. I would just know this wasn't God in my spirit & confirmed from the Holy Spirit, & what to do about it.
The Holy Spirit also gives the gift of discernment. And teaches by comparing spiritual with spiritual. And I need this gift much today. So? Because I am a spiritual person. And I hate deception.
Also Kim Clement wrote books about this. http://www.kimclement.com One book I recently purchased is titled 'Call me Crazy, but I'm hearing God'. And he prophecies for the Church today & also to who ever listens. But the Lord confirmed in me that Kim is His Prophet. So? That is the reason I got interested in Kim in the first place. And then I realized that I found some of my prayers were answered when I listened to Kim. And so? His God is also my God. There is agreement in the Spirit.

I have a lot of dreams that tell me ahead of time what's going to happen into the future. I can differeniate between a dream from God and a normal dream by whether or not I can physically feel what/who is in my dreams and by the exhilertion and realness of these dreams.
I figure this is the way the Lord talks to me, and it's been this way since I was about 10. Truly I am so grateful to have to Lord speak with me, and I always look forward to having those dreams.
Thank you Yahweh!

I think so. It's usually after I've prayed about something major. A few years ago I had a cancer scare. I basically prayed to give me the strength to deal with whatever I'd have to if I had it. As soon as those words left my mind, my head tingled and I knew no matter what, it would be okay. I'm guessing it was God, but who knows. It doesn't happen very often.

When God speaks to me, the wind stops, the birds stop chirping and everything becomes absolutely silent. Then he telepathically puts the thoughts of his words directly into the neurotransmitters of my brain.

God speaks to our neighbor, Mr. Gibby.
Actually it's Jesus. Every few days he gets messages from Jesus.
His wife says he's nuts; but some of the things he's told me, only Jesus would know, so...
The only question I have, is Mr. Gibby never goes to church -- so what's up with that?

I instantaneous moments; Bible scriptures pop into my mind...
when I'm trying to make difficult decisions that seem to be gray areas..always...certain scriptures come to my memory....when I base my decisions [ placing the concept of the stories to the best possible context of my situation] on these scriptures...it turns out the right thing to do EVERY time!!
God does;although more rarely...give me peace about direction apart from the scriptures...but like i said, its more rare....

Well if it sounds like Charelton Heston or Tom Baker then it is god. If it sound like your own voice then it is probably not.

He acts like Kevin Costner in "Waterworld"
"He doesn't have a name, so Death can't find him!!"
(Enola)
But he sounds like Sean Connery.
(He better sound like Sean or I'll be disappointed.)
