My computer is an HP windows vista, but my old HP printer will not work on it.

Definately Lexmark printers.

Had a Lexmark printer that lasted me 11 years until I had to throw it away because of old age.

They have never failed me, my friends, or my previous networks. Great machines at great prices.

***Also; one thing to look for is a small green sticker that says "Windows Vista Compatible". Not every Vista compatible hardware will have this, but its good to look.

I'm sure if the printer is operating fine, that it will work with Vista. However, ANY printer will work with Vista. Most printers (without the bells and whistles) will automatically install within 30 seconds after plugging it into a Vista machine. Check HP's website for drivers for your printer.

Vista seems to be a problem system at this time. They havent worked all the bugs out yet. you can go to the website for your printer and download the new driver. That should help

Agree with Ahmed. HP is a good choice.

However, before you dump the HP you have, I suggest you go to HP's website to see if they are aware of the problem and have a fix for you. Write down the Model number, serial number, then go to:
