I am baking Amaretti cookies tomorrow and the recipe calls for caster sugar. I've been all over and can't find it. What do I do? I heard caster sugar is just very fine sugar, but not confectioners sugar. Can i just grind regular granulated sugar in the food processor??

Im not talking about thinking for the purpose of solving a
problem. Im talking about an earnest ponderance.

People seem to only grasp concepts in terms of either/or. For example, right and wrong - much of this is a grey area that requires a great amount of deliberation, but people seem to only adhere dogmatically to what others have told them.

When a person is put on trial the goal is for him to "win" the case. The jury is asked to pick a winner, not to determine the actual truth and arrive at an fair resolution.

It appears that in order to be understood by the laity complex concepts need to be broken down to opposing choices.
It appears as though people often avoid activites that require strenuous thought.

Is this the case?

Well I toke a test about the 2nd day i didn't have my period and it was negative. So I figured that my period will come...but today about 5 days from when my period was do I noticed brown spotting. I never have old blood before I start just usually after my period. I've also been told that I should test again...but I figure it'd be a negative again cuz they always are but this time is different. Does brown spotting mean anything? I'm sorry if this question has been asked before... :)

Looking to start part-time job while daughter is in school durning the daytime. I have been at home mom 4 years now and have NEVER used babysitter or daycare & would like to keep it that way. WHAT DO I DO ABOUT SUMMER BREAKS, SPRING BREAKS & OTHER VARIOUS BREAKS W/OUT QUITING the job every summer and starting a new one? I dont see how this is going to work!

#1) What *part-time* job (NOT CAREER) would allow you to simply not work durning most of your childs school vacations & breaks? Im thinking NONE! except teaching....and well that is a career. Im only looking into casual part-time jobs for extra cash and definatly want it to be OUTSIDE the home for socialization issues I desperately need.

#2) If i crack and decide to do the daycare thing (I simply refuse to put her in personal nanny/sitter care due to security issues i have) but could consider a large daycare building/setting....Will they even be OPEN durning a holiday break and school breaks? Or is most large centers closed

Im sure that many of you have heard of Classmates.com. I recieved a notice someone signed my guest book so I check it out. It is a girl I desired back in H.S. because she was attractive. We did hang out for a time w/ mutual friends but no dating happend. I looked at her profile and she never had married because of 'Only bad relationships'. Shes on the site to network with old friends. Was it correct of myself to email her and ask for a date to get together and chat. Im divorced w/out children. Shes very independent, owns her own business and back then had more energy than a whole cheerleading squad. I am the opposite. Very laid back (lazy).
Her profile picture shows that she's still hot and sexy. I never dated a girl as pretty as her. I don't really know why. I've had opportunities but never went for it.

I work in an office/engineering environment. Often I receive emails with a simple "thank you" in them. Is it rude to not reply with a "you're welcome" ?

I usually look at the "thank you" emails as an acknowledgment that my email was received and the information in it was sufficient. Usually they seem to come from those who hold positions higher than mine, hence the reason I am concerned with the proper etiquette.
