it is certainly possible, but we will probably never find out.
i've had many dreams where i would remember some details about the person in it, but visually, i would not be able to picture it. somehow, i would just KNOW.
i think it is very difficult to talk about dreams with confidence. i remember having a dream during the summer before i went to high school about a girl i've supposedly never seen in my life and when i went to high school in the fall, she was in my class. the fact that many of us have trouble remembering our dreams to begin with, let alone being able to detail them, makes trying to remember exactly an almost impossible task. as human beings, we have the cognitive ability to imagine things and create scenarios in our mind that may not exist so it is inevitable that we may confuse reality with imagination. after all, everything that goes through our mind is all contained in that brain of ours.
chances are, if you imagined what your "soul mate" looked like right now, there is probably someone in the world who looks just like that, but are they really the same person?
this is a very interesting area of study...

Yes, even if you've never met them before, there is such a massive amount of people on this planet, that there is probably a double of the person you saw in your dream somewhere in the world. This is why when we meet some people, we get the sense that we have seen them or met them before, even if we haven't. This could just be a small part of you remembering a dream in which a person like this existed.

I know it's really wierd how we dream of dreams that are so realistic.. I think it mostly comes from how we feel, what we did that day, etc. Like if you met a cute guy at a coffee shop or whatever, and you keep thinking of him, then you might have a dream about him... Your dream is your getaway, sometimes you can imagine stuffs, and sometimes it just goes to you.. It is very strange, but I think dreams are meant for our getaway.. Say if your hungry, then you can dream that your eating steaks, and meat, and drinking champagne, etc.
It's very difficult, and you can talk on and on about it. So I will try to make it short : Most likely the people in your dreams that you dream of don't exist, unless you are thinking of a particular person.

Everything in your world exists in your mind. If I tell you I have blue eyes but you cannot see me then you may "picture" me with blue eyes. Or an author may imagine a character, as she or he fills in details about the character that character may really take on a form of life.
The people in your dreams exists but only in your mind. They can become more when you put them in print or in story.

The human brain is incredible. It can remember every image that you have seen. Whether it was in passing or on a movie or television. So, whenever you dream, your mind pulls picture of a person at random unless there is something very specific that your subconscious is trying to tell your conscious.

Most people are deceived by vain hopes, and dreams get them all excited. What you see in a dream is no more real than a reflection of your face in a mirror. What is unreal can not produce something that is real than what is dirty can produce something that is clean. You see in dreams what you want to see.But unless God has sent you a dream pay no attention to it.Dreams has misled many people they put their faith in them only to be disappointed.

Your strategies can not create faces, subsequently you have seen the persons on your targets in genuine existence. you may desire to've been walking down a crowded highway and seen them without noticing them. And it is not likely that they have a similar targets as you because of the fact targets do no longer create waves.

Indeed, you've probably astral-traveled and met somebody. I had a friend who had a friend who met his wife that way. I've met a couple of girls in dreams but never seem to be able to figure out that it's a dream until I'm no longer with them :(
They definitely seem to be real though :)

I always dream of people i don't know and even celebrities. I personally believe that they are people we have met and don't remember or someone we may see in the future. What i do believe that our dreams give us clues to help in our waking life.

Well, last night I dreamt about a girl that fell off of a ledge and ended up killing herself.
I started to draw her face, and I told my girlfriend that this was the girl in my dream, her name is Savannah. She looked at me, and said, no, she looks exactly like Sarah. (Sa-- pretty close, huh?)
Sarah is a girl who fell off the top of a building and killed herself. To top things off, my girlfriend wrote "Sarah" on her neck, and then shaded it out, while the girl in my dream had slit her neck. (I never knew Sarah, but she did)
So, my answer is yes. I think these people do exist. Kind of eery the way things happened.
