I have a large (fat!) yellow lab who can chew through a pigs ear in 5 minutes. She loves the big rawhide bones we give her and she can chew through those in an hour or less. I've read that they're bad so I think we shouldn't give them to her. She doesn't like toys...only her ball. Plastic squeaky toys don't amuse her. She chews these bones and leaves little shards all over the house. She also coughs and almost throws up...what's a safe alternative that I can easily buy from a pet store?

i've worked with this girl for about 1 & a half years, we become pretty good friends, i started to have feelings for her about 4 months ago & i told her how i felt but she said she only see's me as a friend but shes got a boyfriend so shes bound to say that anyways. Anyway she said it would be best if we diddn't talk anymore to help me get over her, so i agreed, it's killing me but in the long run it'll help. BUT these past couple of shifts i've worked with her i've seen her looking at me, i don't mean a 1 second glance, i mean a full stance stare but when i look at her she looks away. i was just wondering if this means anything or not?

what are his stand-out qualities? average student, business failure, poor president. most presidents had something in their past that made them stand out from the crowd. high intellegence, leadership skills, military honors, something, anything. if george had not been born into the bush family, you would have never heard of him. he does not have the talent to do it on his own merits

I'm building a new pc, I'm quite new to SLI Technology but I do already have 1 of the two graphic cards I will be needing. (still waiting on the motherboard, here's the specs on it: http://www.directron.com/crosshair.html#caption ) but I have noticed here lately even the power supplies are labled "SLI Ready" will a standard power supply not deliver the power needed?

The problem is when I turn on my computer, it shows the HP Screen (normal) and then it goes to the Windows logo loading screen. Thats the problem. It just stays like that forever. And the bars are actually moving by the way.

Currently I'm in Safe Mode with Networking. My operating system is Windows XP.

If you need any more info, just say so please.

Any help you can give me will be appreciated.

3) Look at all the ungodliness, injustice, disease, and BS in our world

4)Our society has no problem being shallow, ruthless, doing frivolous things, going to all the music concerts, and movies, yadda yadda, sex,

and at the end of the day, these people want to believe in God and worship God?

How's "God" going to take care of your medical bills, career interests, teach you common sense and other things about life?

Churches operate as business organizations as well.

Basically the way I see it, believing in God, especially in this day and age seems almost to be a setback, because it interferes with your abilities to adapt and get used to society, in order to survive.

Believing in God, may soften you, and teach you mantras which are out of sync with modern society therefore crippling you.

The people who preach God most, seem to be weird types. social crutch anyone!?!?

Please. Any advice?

How do you deal with non muslim co-workers during their holiday season?
for example they have christmas events at work.
my my co-workers are having secret santa present thing..and they asked me this morning If I was going to participate,,you buy a gift to for someone sectretly etc and get a gift in return.
They know I'm muslim but still some muslims do this. This is what I told them.....
'hey you guys know that I do not celebrate christmas,,and I wont participate in the secret santa thing however,,,,,,,my holiday is coming up on the 20th too so we could have a holiday pot luck. they liked the idea and we are doing it.
I do participate in potluck events bring my own dish and of course make sure I dont eat anything that has pork in it.
and we only have to men in my unit....one being a palestinian.
So that helps alot.
so how do you guys try to work and in the meantime be a muslim.
Do you ever face weird situations?
