wouldnt it have been better to delete it??
it was a trogan horse...are those really bad?? =)

It means your using Avast. Avast calls quarantine the chest. It doesn't matter if you delete or quarantine them, they are harmless while in quarantine.

I always delete then. However there are a few that can not be deleted. So moving them to the "chest" or "quarantining" them is just as good. When you do that the virus or file is isolated. Like if you were to put something in a lock box. It can not get out or do anything.

It is recommending that you quaranteen them, until you can delete them, without causing a problem.
