My husband and our son are deploying to Iraq soon. Our daughter is expecting her first baby and I'd like to make a maternity T Shirt for her to wear to the send off ceremony. I need a cute saying to put on the shirt which says something to the effect of "I won't get to meet my Grandpa and Uncle when I'm born, I'll have to wait a while". Now, I know THAT isn't cute...help me out please? Thanks to all who help.

I also posted this question in the "Fashion" category, but I would love to hear from "Military" answerers, too.

I think we should put some limits on importatation of these people.

The chinese have way too much power and they are taking over our universities and our institutions. We, the Americans, need to take a stand and put some limits on the importation of these people.

From the student governemnt, to the dating scene, the chinese are trying to put in their influence everywhere they can. I have had chinese people actually literally come between a woman and myself.

They are so agressive - I was sitting one seat apart from a girl in lecture, and he sits in between the seats. I was sitting next to the girl, and he squashes in next to me. This guy is chinese, and he is so characterisitic of them - opportunistic, uncouth, and unaware of cultural norms here in the west. He does so at his own peril - there are consequences.

I am a very loving, attentive person. In fact, my high school Bible teacher called me a puppy. It was sad. I can't help being around my husband all the time. Is it because I am very insecure ? Or is it the fact that I have been thru alot ?

This is spurred on by a question someone asked about what you would do in a power outage, as she wasn't prepared, and it was an ordeal for her to get through one night, and part of a day with no power.

Many of you (probably most) have city water. By the way, I'm in the U.S.A. and I'm imparting information on the U.S. system, not another country.

If you recieve TREATED city water, and it is almost all treated now, at the very most your city has a seven day supply of clean water for you in a National Emergency.

Checmicals to treat city water arrive on a "just in time" basis. There is not one single city in the entire U.S. that has more than a seven day supply of chemicals. Many only have a three day supply.

After that, the water may become so full of bacteria is it unsafe for you to drink.

Even if you live in cities and have city water, you need to store water in case of an emergency. How many of you knew that?

...if people were required to pass a test in basic logic and debate before they could participate here?

Again and again, I see people engaging in the worst sorts of logical fallacies -- arguments from personal incredulity, assuming the answer, special pleading, and on and on. Just breathtakingly inane stuff, actually. The kind of "arguments" I'm almost hesitant to respond to, for fear that I'm somehow lending them credibility by acknowledging their presence.

Am I alone in this feeling? Or am I just being an intellectual snob?

My fiance and I are not members of any church and could probably be considered atheists. However, there is a beautiful church located across the street from my reception hall. It is a Methodist Church. What should i say when I call to ask them if we could hold our wedding ceremony there? Would it put them off if I asked if I could bring in a Justice of the Peace? Thanks for your help. Happy Holidays.

I just got married last week. We both were virgins. I bled a little bit the first time. We have had sex every night since, and I alway bleed a little bit. This morning (did it last night as well!) I was bleeding a lot more than I had been but... It isn't any more than what a pantyliner can handle. Is this normal?

Last night i was in my car and a song came on and i started to thinking about God and listened to it again and while driving down the road I just became overwhelmed and could feel His presence. It was so wonderful..It wasn't even a gospel cd...do you have one?
And I said believers because if you don't believe in God you may have some other diety, budda, allah, whatever. Idk as long as you believe.

I was watching a show about earth quakes (History Channel) and they mention an earthquake at sea could cause a tsunami that would send water inland as far as Ground Zero. And immeadiately I knew they meant the Twin Towers. Then I thought to myself: I wonder how that phrase came to be a part of our popular speech and thought? Any ideas....And I would like to know who first said Ground Zero...
