Any ideas on where I might find some high quality draperies for inexpensive price. I hired a decorator in the past that helped me pick fabrics and had the drapes made. I'm on a MUCH stricter budget now. I am open to trying to make my own drapery panels & roman shades. I just need to know where did she find the good fabrics.

I don't need it for anything fancy, just to type papers, edit photos/videos, watch movies, go online and f around on yahoo answers when I have the pleasure of doing so. I've seen the macs at the store and while the look neato & fun, I don't see what the difference will be If i get one vs. another compaq or dell. Help!

I am married, 25, and took a pregnancy test and it was negative. I have been really stressed lately and constantly worried about something. I feel cramping like I am going to start sometimes but I haven't. I was on seasoninque birth control and stop it in the middle of the pack because I was having problems with the med. So then I had my period and started loestrin and just completed my first pack. I had old blood discharge when I started the pack at first. I took my last pill on Saturday and today is Thursday and still no period!!!! What could be going on???? Should I be worried??? I really wish that it would hurry up and come!

Anyone else out there psyched about the recent pics of the upcoming live-action "Speed Racer" incarnation? I must admit that I find the pre-release critiques on the attached webpage, pretty amusing. Some of the folks out there are concerned about the so-called 'politically incorrect environmental aspects of the original anime' being incorporated into the live-action film. Why can these fine folks resign themselves to the fact that this is a work of fantasy, and like the original anime, exists within another realm or universe. Much like any other genre film of it's like, I plan to just sit back and enjoyed the film, for the out & out pure entertainment value...

This is my second year having mine and my husband's friends over for a "cookie party"... basically to indulge in cookies I've baked for the holidays.

We are pretty tight on money, so I usually require people to bring their own alcohol if that's what they want. But I WOULD like to have some kind of fun, christmasy beverage (maybe non-alcoholic?) here for them to have. Maybe a punch or some kind of chocolate drink?

Any suggestions/recipes would be appreciated!

I left my job in March so no longer make contributions. My husband will be 50 in Jan. and can retire from his state job. He can increase his pension by "buying back" 2 years of his military service time to go towards his service to the state. If I wait for the dr. apointment he wont be able to get seen till 5 hours from now... but if i go to the other place (i think its like a clinic or somethin...its affiliated with the hospital thats by me) he will get seen alot sooner.... how big of a deal is a 102.2 fever( he is 3 yrs. old)?
