It tastes rather like a thick enchilada sauce. It isn't all that chocolatey if made correctly and it has much more than chocolate and chiles in it. It is a complex blend of ingredients and there are hundreds of ways to make. Not all moles include chocolate.

If i remember, its almost like a spicy, chocolatey sauce.
I thought chicken mole had chcoolate in it, i could be wrong. But it is sweet and savory at the same time, i love it!

It really depends on who prepares it. Mexican mole is rather spicy, when prepared the way some people do. Really, it is all a matter of preference

It can be spicy or not. Usually it is a green mole but it could be red too.
