How do i know if my floating glass thermometer is accurate? I used to have one in my tank but now i have a second one and there is a 3 or 4 degree difference between the two.. one thing i noticed is that when I tried moving them around different environments and one changes temp quicker than the other..

Also, do these things stay accurate over the years or not?

I am sure it's different from city to city, so I'm interested in how the different cold cities handle running water in the winter time. When it gets really really cold, how does the city prevent freezing water in the underground piping systems? Does frozen water damage pipes? If so which pipes are better than others (I heard that copper is really bad, so what are the alternatives)?

if i came home with a D on my spanish oral exam. i am a straight A student in everything and taking a college class in Spanish. i have a 4.48 GPA. the spanish class i'm taking i've gotten A's straight through on the quizzes and compositions. but the teacher never had us try to speak it until the end when all of a sudden he makes us "role play" in spanish. i got a 60. since it was 10% of our grade, i still might get an A in the class, but i'm expecting a B. i wasn't all upset about it, just glad that it was over. my mom was all "it's ok hunny, you had no experience speaking it, etc." on the phone and was sympathetic like she thought i thought it was the end of the world for me. but my friends said if they got a D, they would have been punished for it. if i was your kid, would you punish me?

I can never seem to reach orgasm with my husband.

I am turning one of our spare bedrooms into an office. My husband played college football so that is the theme. I painted the walls a very bold copper and gold (team colors). The door and trim are all white as it is throughout our entire house. I have a bunch of great blown up pictures of him playing football that are all in black frames. I'm trying to do this as inexpensive as possible. Will the black frames look tacky with the white trim?

I've never been around someone who's had ideas in their minds and a real believer in making it come true. So I am having trouble being supportive when he mentions an idea, because in the past I have thought he was just saying it to say it. I took a steak out of the freezer and let it thaw in the fridge and when it was thawed I seasoned it and set ti in the micrwave this was at about 6pm and I forgot it until the next morning at about 7am and then I put it in the frigde. I really can't deal with this anymore.and by this i mean my life. i am in 8th grade going to highschool and i just can't take it. my parents set really high standards and every time i do something wrong lately it just gets worse with them. i mean they don't abuse me or hit my in any way, but still. they are calling me a sissy and baby, i can deal with it like if it was a kid at school, but its not, its my own parents. my sister does that and even worse things to me and my parents don't do anything about it. like last week my sister gave me a scar under my eye for yelling at her to get out of my room. then guess what my mom did she said it was my fault for provoking her into a fight and yelled at me. just for the record my sister is 11 and i am 13. then there is school and i just can't take it. my girlfriend broke up with me last week and i just don't know what to do. i am considering suicide what should i do please help. give me some answers and please no stupid comments.

Well my 21st birthday is fastly approaching. Although I'm not a drinker, I plan on going out to the bar with friends. I don't know what to order! Um, every time i insert my fujji film music CD to burn it on windows media player it doesn't. Ill click burn on the side, and it will open up the drive. And then ask me to insert a new disk. But this disk hasnt ever been used before. Any ideas??

The hairdresser made such a good job of it, and she did tell me that when i go back to my own country and it does grow, it will give me dark roots. I knew this already, but the roots look awful now, but the rest is lovely. The only thing is this country i am living in doesnt know how to do highlights at all. i know it sounds funny but its the truth. Only i dont know what to do and i cant afford an expensive trip back to the uk for my hiar. lol. Can anyone tell me what i can do apart from putting a box of dye in it. I dont want to do that as i am stuck with it then. Please if you have any decent suggestions let me know. Thanks
