A few pages in my book has grease from vaseline. It's been sitting overnight. How can I remove this stain?

from a text book??? hmmmmm. i think not.

in all seriousness tho. you cant use water alone. cuz vasoline is hydrophobic and insoluble in water. the key is to use soap like stuff can use dry soap too which makes the vasoline somewhat water soluble then wipe away with damp cloth.

Try sprinkling talcum or baby powder over the stain marks. Let the powder sit on the stain overnight if possible, then take a papertowel and wipe the powder off. This works for clothes so hopefully it will work on your book too! Best of luck!!!

try powder with corn starch to suck it out of the book and next time close the book.
