Anyone else out there psyched about the recent pics of the upcoming live-action "Speed Racer" incarnation? I must admit that I find the pre-release critiques on the attached webpage, pretty amusing. Some of the folks out there are concerned about the so-called 'politically incorrect environmental aspects of the original anime' being incorporated into the live-action film. Why can these fine folks resign themselves to the fact that this is a work of fantasy, and like the original anime, exists within another realm or universe. Much like any other genre film of it's like, I plan to just sit back and enjoyed the film, for the out & out pure entertainment value...

...please, oh please let the premise of the film have some basis on the classic two/three-part episode, involving the Car Acrobatic Team!!!!!

Are you kidding me. I'm trying to purchase tickets already. hahaha

I wish it were just the cartoon. Making it live will take away from the great oohs and aahs, he used to make during difficult situations.

Btw I've already installed the homing peigon on my car and waiting for the jacks (A button) in be installed. hahaha

Edit: Or the Mammoth Car episode. It was really made from gold.

Probably the fastest way to speed up your computer without doing a major revamp is to move all of those items on your desktop you are not using to a folder off of your desktop. This is because when you log on, your system needs to "load them up". Try placing these items in a folder in c: with a special name like "OldDesktopItems". Also try running Disk Defragmenter which, on a Windows XP system is found under Start->Programs->Accessories->SystemTool... Defragmenter. This may take some time to run but will be worth the wait if you've never done so for you system. It repackages your files so your system can access them faster. Good luck! Hope this helps. :>)
