My 13 YO female Turkish Van has been deaf for years (maybe her entire life... she only came to us 8 years ago). She has recently gone blind -- her eyes no longer dialate but are big and black with only the tiniest area of green at the bottom. It is TORTURE watching her bumping into things and we're doing everything we can to help her adjust, but I'm wondering if anyone has any secrets/advice for helping her. Her health isn't great-- she is in the early stages of kidney failure and we're dealing with that now too -- but she doesn't seem to be in any pain or suffering so putting her down is NOT an option. I'm doing the vet thing; I'm just wondering if there's advice from real people/cat lovers that might make my Starlight's life happier/easier.

Any help/advice/shared experiences would be appreciated!

i have to write a 10pg paper on either
1.hypothalamic-pituitary-testicular axis and testosterone production
2.the metabolic effects of concussion
3. muscle physiology and sports performance

and my prof. said i needed journals to use for my paper
and i need help searching for these journals
but when i check in my school for concussion nothing comes up
i must be doing something wrong??

which would be the easiest one in terms of getting information
is either or on the numbers

is there a more technical term for concussion?

This plant has fuzzy big leaves and had dark pink trumpet-like flowers. The flowers are gone now, but the leaves still look healthy. But I don't know what it is. Thanks.

right here we go - on friday i have been invited to a friend of a friends 21st bd party - i was invited about 6 months ago and at the time i said id go - thinking dont wanna sound mean also what the hec its 6 months away it will never get round - anyway it has and its this friday !!! you see the problem is its not the party - i love partys and drinks but the problem is the people who will be there (his other friends) i know them and well lets just say if i go there will be more than a 'clash of charactors' i really dont get on with them and to be honest it would probably end up in a bust up (things in the past too complicated to explain)

so what do i do - i dont wanna ruin his party or the atmosphere i mean the guy who's bd it is is ok but its his other mates that are well ....... lets just say not ok

do i make some excuse and not go - if so what???

or what do i do if i go- get some table in the corner and take a back seat on it all ???????????

My six month old daughter seems to be cutting her eye teeth first. She is in alot of pain I have tried everything she even cried herself to sleep the other night after tylanol and orejel. shes too small for motrin. My son had a hard time any ideas would be helpful. Thanks
