The best place to start looking for journal articles is PubMed.

www.pubmed.gov

Concussion is a medical term, but it is also called mild traumatic brain injury (MTBI).

Professor is right. Pubmed is the site that most researchers go to, since it lists most peer-reviewed journals (only some are accessible without a subscription, though).

You didn't mention your level of school. If you're in High School, it's unlikely that your school will have journals. In college, it's a little more likely, but unless it's a big medical or bio-oriented school, probably not.

I find that Wikipedia is great. You can't do research directly from it, but often times, you can find a citation in an article, then use that information to track down the original journal article on Pubmed.
