-recently I have been getting cyber geeks logging into my system tampering and installing virus, how and what is the best way to protect my computer,.?

In my opinion, and I have been using computers since the 1960s, the best virus scanner program is AVGFree. Not only is it free for personal use, but has regular updates and I have never found it to allow a virus through.

phishing is an fake email from a bank or ebay for example, where the person is wanting you to sign into your account or update something so they can than use your info for there own gain.
ebay and banks do not email asking you to do this.
as for security you will need a good firewall and anti-virus program
kaspersky or mcafee are 2 good choices (security suites)
also make sure you have windows updates as well.

there isnt one for windows either stay off the net, buy a mac, or switch to linux. The crackers are way better then the guys at microsoft but evan crackers have a rough time with linux

I use Trend Micro but you have to buy it but AVG is ok and its free
