I used to have a little Goddess statue named Caffeinia. Wonder what ever happened to her?
You see, when you say coffee is your god, or goddess if you prefer, you are speaking metaphorically. Just as when I described myself as a Priestess of Minerva. Or a Priestess of Venus.
Now, metaphors are neither true nor false: they are not in that form at all. It's like the guy who says "My wife is the most beautiful woman in the world." You may not agree, but do you dare tell him that it is false? It is subjective, that's all.
Robert Anton Wilson once gave a lecture in San Francisco regarding such matters, about truth and the different kinds of truth. He used some other sentence as his illustration of a subjective truth, and labeled the sentence quoted above as the only absolutely true sentence on the list.
Of course he was right.

No. You are a monotheist. I am not sure if congratulations are in order or not, of course. If there is a coffee heaven, can I put my crunchy chocolate heaven next door? It would smell good. I will be serving milk and cosmopolitans, perhaps we can exchange some beverages now and then for variety.

Yes. Atheism(?) is when you dont believe in A God. If you say coffee is your god that means you really like coffee. Its not like you bow down or sacrifice people to it.
Micheal M, I resent that comment but do not take offence because the bible said that people will make fun of us. but lets not turn this into an argument.

if coffee is your god, I would say you should consider yourself pagan, as coffee beans are most definitely a product of mother nature!

Actually, From a point of View, Yes it is.
Mostly what your god (Little g) will do for you is keep you awake and hyper and going to the bathroom, a lot, a whole lot, a whole whole lot.
I'll let that one go.
