It depends, my husband stopped wearing his because of his job. He didn't want it getting lost or messed up.

If he wears other rings, but not there wedding band would be a little suspicious. I know a family where the brothers drive truck and both have been married over 20 years. The younger brother was in an accident and some how the seat belt got caught on the ring and tore his finger off. It scared the older brother enough that he quit wearing it.
It can be due to work environment, gaining weight, lost it and doesn't want to tell you, broke it, something scared him from wearing it and wont admit to you he got that scared. Maybe he never wore and wont wear jewelry. Give him the benefit of the doubt. Ask him why he doesn't.

a man or woman can and will cheat with or without the ring . the ring is just a symbol it is not the marriage. it is the individual people that make or break the marriage vows. if they are going to cheat that is what they are going to do ;no matter what they are wearing. some people are not cheaters. a marriage should be partly based on trust, if they cheat they are not trust worthy so get rid of them. drop that zero and go on with your life.. believe it or not once a cheater always a cheater as well as a liar when they say it will never happen again. I lived it and I regretted it until death did us apart, and NO! I did not kill him; his way of living the fast life took him out at the age of 52....I lived 25 years with a cheating husband wearing his wedding band all the time. I kept my vows until the end. Good Luck & do not do as I did ;it is a lonely and miserable way of life. I feel I wasted many years of my life being unhappy.

The symbol is not as important as the fact. Men have been known to cheat with wedding rings on too, in fact some men will wear a wedding band as a ready 'out' in case a woman wants a more committed relationship.
Fidelity is in the heart or its not, wearing a ring will not stop a man from cheating, at best, it may slow down a woman looking for a man from chasing one with a ring. But don't count on that either.
Cheaters cheat, faithful men don't...ring on or ring off.

I am married and stopped wearing my ring for some months now. It got very tight as my fingers have become fatter.
I never bothered to get a new ring.
I really don't think it does matter since I am not a young man anymore and the chances are very low that some one will ever think twice about me.
I will not be cheating any way.

In some cases it might, but in other cases it depends on what he does for a living. I know quite a few married men who don't wear their wedding ring because if there finger were to get caught on something they are working on it could rip their finger off. This goes for installers, automotive, farming, and such. Grease might play a factor also, so it really depends on the guy and their profession. Don't assume all guys who don't wear their wedding band are cheaters.

No. Not true at all.
Does he work with machinery? Some companies don't allow rings due to safety issues.
I'm rough on rings, and I wear my wedding ring on my right hand. What does that mean? It means I noticed that I was banging the ring up because I'm right-hand.
Sheesh. If you don't' trust someone, why get in a marriage?

it doesn't really matter if you wear your wedding ring all the time or not. If your married you know your married with or without a ring. if a married man or woman wants to cheat they are going to cheat even if they wear their wedding ring all the time. in this day and age it doesn't seem to matter.

I can't wear mine most of the time as a chiller mechanic. I am around moving parts a lot, I like my fingers where they are. I am not cheating on my wife. I put it on when I go out, if I remember to.

Not always. When I leave for work I leave mine at home. We are not allowed rings due to safety issues. I leave it at home so I won't take the chance of loosing it. I don't cheat, so the answer to your question is no.
