Pascal's theory was a pretty good theory but he was discredited because he was a drinker (which was a lame reason). But besides that whats so good about it?

I know some answer s Im going to get back are going to be a question which will be , "whats so good about believing?" And my answer is that I have something to look forward to when my time comes. Strong faith makes fear of death obsolete. My life feels like I have a higher selfless purpose. If Im wrong at the end then so what?

Some would say "because you dont get to live your life"...
What are you doing in life that I cant do? Get high? Harm others? Harm myself ? What?

Please give me mature answers people.

HELP!!! I'm having and endoscopy done tomorrow and I'm starving. I'm supposed to fast all day today so my stomach is empty and I really don't want to have tomato soup all night long. Any thoughts?

PS This is being done to find out why my stomach is not digesting food properly and I'm losing weight.

Factor out the GCF(Greatest Common Factor) from the given polynomial 12c^2d^5 + 15c^8d^4 (^# means to the power) so its 12c(little 2)d(little5) + 15c(little 8)d(little4) sorry kinda confusing without being able to type the problem normally lol

I was raised Baptist...went to Sunday School and Church every week, went by myself, parents didn't attend, so it was voluntary that I went.....

When I became a teenager, I converted to Catholism.

I dislike most Protestants and their services.....
I love the Catholic church's services and rituals.....

I'm a private person, not much of a socialite....
I don't like being "preached" at

I believe in God...
I'm intelligent and like to poke holes in reglious arguments...
I can't get comfortable with "blind following" aka faith...
I'm very sensitive...
I'm not for certain that I believe in Jesus....

What I need, basically, is a religon similiar to Catholism, without the Jesus factor......

Sighs.....any thoughts?

So for the past two years, it seems as if every time I try to hold a conversation with my mom she tries to point out the wrong in whatever i have to say. It could be over the smallest things. For instance, I come to her with a simple question and before she hears what I have to say she raises her voice and replies "what kind of mess are you getting into now?" This goes on everyday, and it's really driving me crazy! What can I do?
