I was raised Baptist...went to Sunday School and Church every week, went by myself, parents didn't attend, so it was voluntary that I went.....

When I became a teenager, I converted to Catholism.

I dislike most Protestants and their services.....
I love the Catholic church's services and rituals.....

I'm a private person, not much of a socialite....
I don't like being "preached" at

I believe in God...
I'm intelligent and like to poke holes in reglious arguments...
I can't get comfortable with "blind following" aka faith...
I'm very sensitive...
I'm not for certain that I believe in Jesus....

What I need, basically, is a religon similiar to Catholism, without the Jesus factor......

Sighs.....any thoughts?

'Religion' is all about your connection to God.

This connection you express in your thoughts, words and deeds.

Go within, and meditate on the fact that the throne of God is in your heart.

Mainstream 'religions' are mostly businesses.

The Kingdom of God is within you, and the Spirit is even right now waiting for you to open your mind to its inspiration.

"What you speak; that you create,
Change your words; change your fate"

Look for a teacher that can guide you into Meta-Physical thinking and you will understand every 'religion' in the world, and not be a slave of any.

Follow what your heart says for this will show you the everlasting happiness. I'am a believer of God too same as you. There are many religions out there, choose wisely. Pray to Him and He will show you.

Who told you you needed religion?!!!! Especially one that is ritualistic! You need relationship not religion. And the only way to have a relationship with God, is to go through His Son Jesus. That is the absolute only way. There is no other way. So as long as you keep searching for religion without 'The Jesus Factor" you will not find peace or Life eternal. Sorry.

You are what we call a seeker. You seek spirituality and have no religion.I think you should research many religions before you pick a path, the wikipedia is a good place to start.

All that matters is that you believe in God. You don't have to contain yourself to one religion. You can always research other religions and find the one that fits you. If all else fails, you believing in a higher power is your own religion.

Assume that nothing is true. Then test out each thing one at a time to veryify its truth or falsity. Find evidence before you believe in anything. Then go from there.

grab an approach more close to reality .. judge of ur own .. can a man be a son of the God ..? its just an Hercules story twisted sideways ..!!
believe in wat u think .>!
God cant be divided ...
God is one who cant be described, cant be felt by our senses ...! try studying Islam or Judaism ... cz they r they have more or less same foundations and faith about God.

I m a Muslim .. but i have found that Christians find Judaism more attractive than Islam .. cz of the recent events .. but hey i m just asking u to read their books ... u will find a twist in the Jew books leading to some where but the designation is murky .. later in Islamic books u will find the answers ..!! its all about satisfying ur self ..!!

may u seek guidance soon
Amen

Your concern should not be on finding the "right religion for you", but simply the "right" religion or true religion, because not all religions are correct.
