my mum doesn't believe me that i'm not dieting even though i have come right out and told her to her face that i'm not dieting. she keeps getting lots of sweets, chocolate and crisps for me and when i dont eat them she says that i'm dieting. im feed up with having to false feed myself just so she believes me. she keeps coming out with really hurtful things like why do people even bother to diet when they are skinny because all it will do is kill them so they loss out on watching their family grow up. what can i do to prove to her that i'm not dieting without hurting her?

What exactly is the difference between a rock and a pop song? I know that pop is short for popular, but that doesn't really help! Were the Beatles Rock, Pop, or both? Surely the Rolling Stones were just Rock? What about The Jam? How do people categorise it?

working mom with disabled husband has been stricken with pancreatic cancer that has spread to colon. she has no sick days from work - husband gets ssi and is not able to work. she has no health benefits from her job but is receiving Cobra - which is not enough for her chemo and radiation. please if someone knows of a means of help, please answer.

What have they promised the lobbyist that would make the lobbyist give them this much money?

Why are people putting up with this?

Do people in this country care that the lobbyist do not have the people's interest at heart...only the interest of their sector or product group?

How many promises to lobbyist did HIllary have to make to get those lobbyist to give her all that money? I am sure that they aren't giving it to her just out of the goodness of their hearts.

if we're ALWAYS talking about "women's" oppression, and their social status, and that male dominant society.......etc,

Haven't you stopped for ONCE and asked about MEN'S OPPERESSION in this "same" society ??!!!!!!!!

let's first admit plz that if the man in the Egyptian society is the domineering in general............but to put in short and in fact, THE WOMAN is the domineering member at HOME !! right ?? ;-) (i don't want to generalize, but really we have the higher authority at home!!! )

Now, let's go to the opposite direction, if the man is acting the role of "sy el sayyed" at home...........then it's the society again that has put him in this FRAME, and sometimes he's obliged to act according to traditions rather than wisdom and even religious teachings !!!!!!

there are more and more examples, want you to discuss it here, and of course wether you agree with me or not !!
