Is there anything that I can do to help her? Should I just let it pass and see how she is tomorrow? Or should I get immediate help? She's part birddog, and around a year and a half old. She is just laying around today and has vomited three times. would a heating pad on her belly help? any suggestions?

She is up and running around now, sorry for the panicking. She seems fine. Thanks for the info though, and I will never give her another bone as long as she lives!

if she ate a bone whole then I would call your vet immediately because it may have gotten stuck or turned itself and perforated the stomach lining -

Pork chop bones are not bad for a dog but if there to sharp, its a possibility that its upsetting her stomach. If there is blood in the vomit the i suggest a trip to the vet, because it could be a sign of very bad conditions. If she's just throwing up dog food and what not then let her be for today, but if it continues go to the vet. And the heating pad on her belly is probably a good idea, but if it seems to upset her more than take it away for a while. Just try to listen to her signals. Hope I helped! !~Bye4Now`~!

If it were me, considering she ate a bone - take her to the vet asap, she may not be able to pass in on her own and it could tear her insides. If shes just laying around and vomitting, something is wrong- you need to take her.. if you have to wait until the morning be sure to give her plenty of water and try to get her to eat.

Most of my puppies make the effort to finish chewing a bone, besides my Lab. While you supply her a bone she finishes it. My aussie refuses to chunk on bones although. She chewed them when she was more youthful. She once broke out of her crate and ripped my mattress to shreds and he or she hasn't chewed on whatever on the grounds that then. She will lick the bone but is not going to take it. Once in a whilst she'll chew on a stick for a minute however that is it. Ever in view that the mattress she hates chewing. No longer sure why (its now not like I beat her or something) however she simply would not like to chunk anymore.

Fisrt of all you should NEVER feed your dogs bones they may like it but not good for them. This happened to my wonderful dog she ate a prokcop bone it got stuck on the way to her stomache, and it twisted ripping her gut open and she started throwing up non stop. Take your dong to the vet ASAP!!! no waiting. 80% 60% chance she will be a gonner.. Our dog was R.I.P Kristie <3 Good Luck

She needs to get to a vet to see if the bone's done any internal damage or is causing a blockage. A heating pad won't help her any, I'm afraid.

was the bone cooked or raw? at least call your vet and talk to them. do not put a heating pad on her, that can cause thermal burns. if the vomiting continues, take her to the vet.

If she has thrown up more than once, you should take her to the vet. She probably ate something worst than the porkchop bone.

maximum of my canines take it sluggish to end chewing a bone, different than my Lab. once you supply her a bone she finishes it. My aussie refuses to bite on bones nonetheless. She chewed them whilst she replaced into youthful. She as quickly as broke out of her crate and ripped my mattress to shreds and she or he hasn't chewed on something considering then. she would manage to lick the bone yet won't take it. now and lower back she'll bite on a stick for a minute yet it fairly is it. Ever through fact the mattress she hates chewing. uncertain why (its unlike I beat her or something) yet she in simple terms does not prefer to bite anymore.

take her to the vet ASAP! NO heating pad, if she spikes a temp you don't want her body to go on over load...keep an eye on input and output today. Don't leave it till tomorrow because by the sounds of it she is already in distress and is lethargic....
