Some muslims are very peaceful with their religion. Some are very funtamental about it. Just like Christians, some are peaceful with it, and other use it to spread hate and seperation. All religion sucks!

You shouldn't stereotype people love, it won't get you very far in life. If everyone stereotyped Christians based on the actions of Hitler, where would we be now? Hitler was in the Western World as you call it and he commited genocide. And he claimed to be a Christian. The Israeli Prime Minister said that he will not stop until the Palestines are gone. And he is a Zionist. Once again, this is genocide. The Hutus of Rwanda tried to wipe out the Tutsi race in Rwanda and they claimed to be Christians. Once again, this is a prime example of genocide. So if we judged religions on the actions of people CLAIMING to be part of that religion, where would we be? I'm sorry you've received hatemail but with your kind of negativity, what can you expect? If you don't like Islam, that's your business, but don't try and spread your hatred on this section because it's not needed. As it states in the Qu'ran, 109:6, TO YOU BE YOUR RELIGION AND TO ME MY RELIGION. By the way, it was Ghandi who said "An eye for an eye turns the whole world blind." And he was a Hindu.

Not all Muslims are like that. I myself am from the Sudan and i think what 'my' people did was wrong. But i am from the South and i am Catholic and the ones in the north are Muslim and Arabs. I was surprised to hear something stupid like that in my country but then again i am not so surprised at why i don't live there. You can't even be your own religion in that country e.g. you have to be Muslim. So things like this really get at them quickly. It's a shame though. That teacher made a choice to go to that country to help out, i can't believe how they could actually treat her this way. It's a shame but you have extremists in every religion and people who make their religions look bad. It's not that all Muslim think this way. My best friend is Muslim and i am sure she would have been disgusted of hearing this.

The teddy bear situation is outrageous, but more to dowith Sudanese society and its enforced extremist Islam. To be fair, the only two people from Britain who have flown out there to negotiate her relase have been Muslim peers. After a slow sart, the Islamic community have voiced considerable opposition to the sentence, unlike their non-Islamic counterparts. Where are Amnesty International? The Respect Party? Human Rights Watch? Socialist Worker? these organisations claim to speak against injustice and wrongful imprisonment, but apart from a lukewarm statement from the first, the others are too afraid of upsetting Muslims to say anything.
This insane debacle is a result of bigotry, bereaucracy and bloody-mindedness.

Who wants to murder her, a few people in the crowd may have got carried away with all the media attention and said something along those lines but Islam doesn't say that.

Don't ask muslims if their religion is peaceful. Just observe their actions, and it is easy to know.

Jus like the bible is said to peaceful, it still states that there is a time to kill and that homosexuality is wrong and on and on and on.

Both the koran and the bible contradict themselves and you get diffrent types of muslims and christains that follow the diffrent parts of the two books. ect. the irish killing each other over two diffrent types of christianity and the muslim extremists.

PEACE

Both can be offensive.
Mohamed is our beloved prophet's name, and in any efforts with the aim to ridicule the name, is a sin in Islam and offensive.
To the extent of murder? I don't think so it has to be murdered.
