Ouija boards (but pronounced like Wiji) look like a board game with the letters of the alphabet on it. There is a triangular piece which two people put their hands on, and supposedly the "spirits of the dead" make that piece move around to spell answers to questions the two people have. How it actually works, of course, is that the two people want certain answers to emerge (Whom will I marry? J-O-H-N-N-Y), and so they subconsciously push the piece around the board to give them the answers they want. There are no real "spiritual" powers involved with a Ouija board.

Oh dear! The spelling is Ouija board and comprises of a board or any other medium with letters of the alphabet, yes & no, & numbers 0-9, a glass is normally used or commercially manufactured boards have pointers. The Idea is for two or more persons to place their fingers lightly on the glass and ask if there are any spirits of the departed that may want to communicate with them? The glass at times will move around the board and spell out their supposed names and other information. Other times it just goes round in circles and plays with you or spells out gobbledy ****. WARNING! Though I would not presume to tell anybody what to do, I do not recommend anyone attempt to use a Ouija board under any circumstances, those that do need proper protection and it should be left to the professionals who know what they are doing. To open the door to the otherside without protection is fool hardy, though at first the board may tell you things that are perfectly true and accurate and gain your confidence, but will in time turn against you with disastrous outcomes. Using a Quija board is tantermount to opening your front door and inviting the whole word into your home, eventually one of them is going to be a very nasty person. Hope this answers your question, sorry about the lecture but I felt compelled to warn you of the dangers, kind regards Malc. P.S. I write from 40 years of personal experience of the supernatural in all it's forms.

It is called a Ouija board, not a Wigi board. And supposedly it helps you talk to spirits, including spirits of the dead.

A wigi Board is a device used to talk to "spirits". the catch is you sometimes don't know if they are good or bad. also when you use something of this sort, it is like inviting the spirit into your home. I have played with one, but it has been yrs. ago and i would never do it again.

a Ouija board is pronounced Wigi but spelt Ouija, these are believed to come in contact with spirits by placing your hand on a glass which moves around a board of letters and numerals and stuff.
They're said to be dangerous and i'm sure if you use one you'll be shitting yourself for evermore.
good luck.

It is a game people play on a board to ask dead people and ghosts questions and they "answer" them by moving the little triangle to the letters and numbers on the board. But it can let bad ghosts in if you don't close it right. you can play by yourself if you want, then you know no one is moving it. But it does work better with another people. I think it works I've done it several times.

It's spelled "ouija" board and it's supposed to be a tool for dead people to communicate with the living. Of course it doesn't work.

Ouija boards are real, and they help you talk to spirts. Like my friend Ryan just died, and i talked to him. But don't do it alone, or you will be possessed. I also know that if you don't say goodbye, the spirt will stay in your house, I know this because i have a Ouija board.
