That's a kinda hard statement to read. It could possibly mean one of two things considering the circumstance. Because of the two of you no longer live in the same state she could be just saying it as I really miss hearing your voice and being around you in a friendly way, I miss hanging out. On the other hand she could be signaling that she really misses being with you and the fact the you kissed her the last time you were together makes me believe that she does care for you in more friendly way. Distance does make the heart grow fonder. I hope it all works out for you.
