Since they are toxic to dogs is it forsure she will get sick? I heard they get anemic and can get really sick in a few day?? She got a hold of a chicken souvlaki, not quite half of it but had onions in it.

My father is mentally ill and in a supported living program.
Once a week for the last year he has been participating in an art class put on by the supported living program's Social club.
This past month there was an art show at a gallery featuring His and some of the other aduts(In the program) art work. All the paintings had a price tag of $65.00. He sold three of his paintings and was very proud of himself, it gave him a nice self esteem boost. The art gallerey gets 20% which i can understand. Now, this is what bugs me, the program that he is in is also taking 20%. This orginization is state funded and gets funds from united way as well. Also, he is only getting an SSI check and that just barely covers his bills. should these people really have the right to take a 20% cut?

I am in a very unhappy marriage. My husband and I have been together almost 14 years and married over 10 years. It's not that he's a horrible guy, but he certainly has some issues. We have been in counseling for months and I'm not seeing much change. I really think that the marriage should end, for both our happiness and the happiness of our children (as we fight a lot and have a stressful home life at this point). That being said...I don't leave. I stay...just as I have stayed all these years when I truly knew years ago it should have ended. I feel like I need to stay in order to ensure my children's "proper" raising. He lies, drives drunk, and is selfish. If I stay married to him then at least I can limit my children's exposure to these things, but I am miserable!!! What's my problem? Why don't I end it???

What is your opinion on kids with misspelled names?

ex. Aleczandyr / Alexander

Personally I know how much it can suck as a kid to not have your name on any object but I think if i had saw my name spelled "wrong to me"/ the correct way to everyone else, I would be upset, Like okay they have it spelt that way but how come not the way I do?

Im nursing my new baby. I have done this with my other 3 too, but they have never become this attached. She wont let anybody hold her. If they do, she cries, and stops as soon as she gets back in my arms. I know my Hubby is hurt. He cant hold her too long either. He tries so hard to make her stop crying, and he looks so hurt. f i eat about 2300 calories a day, and cut down to 1000 a day is it true i will lose weight?

i figure i eat about 16,100/cals week currently, and if i cut to 1000 it would be 7000/cals a week. that makes a deficiency of 9,100 calories. divided by 3,500 this is 2.6

would i really lose 2.6 lbs a week by doing this? without exercise?

(i exercise a lot, so i'm just wondering if eating less will really change my weight that uch)

I confronted my mom and stepdad about me not being able to see the blackboard in school so the next time they go to costco,prob about a week from now maybe sooner, (yes i know that sounds tacky lol) they are going to take me to the optometrist there but i am afraid of going there! i am afraid i might need glasses. my stepdad said i might have astigmatism.And optometrists in general kind of scare me.(no offence to optometrists of course :) ) Is there any way I can feel better about going to the optometrist?
