what is a? help? please?

i have to write an essay on a topic of your own choosing in any sub-field of the Computer Science discipline. i have chosen Computer Basics, what is a computer, hardware, software, internet and the web, and the future of computers.

can you tell me what i should include within the subtitles of the above mentioned?

any ideas how should the layout be?

If a group believes in "traditional values", religion in government, prayer in the schools...?

mixing guns with god, being super though on crime, that women should dress conservatively, that men should lead and women should follow, and believes western pop culture is leading to social decay,

how is that group NOT right-wing?

That's what the islamic fundamentalists in the middle east stand for.

They certainly don't stand for a live and let live attitude on social issues like liberals do.

What are the pros & cons comparing private domestic adoption vs. going with state foster care to adopt?

I was adopted from Korea. Now that I'm grown and married, my husband and I think we'd like to one day adopt even if we can have biological children. We haven't "tried" yet! :) Adoption is obviously something close to my heart. My brother & SIL adopted about 2 years ago - private, domestic. The adoption cost them around $13,000 upfront. My husband & I aren't looking to adopt right now but hearing that cost is alarming! While we'd love to adopt at some point, it's hard to think we'd ever be able to afford that price! Is it "cheaper" to adopt through the state foster agencies instead of doing an expensive private adoption agency? I know that sounds horrible but I'm just thinking about options. Are there many kids 2 and under in public foster agencies though? From what I hear, many kids in those agencies have disabilities or are born with addictions. Is that just a stereotype?! It sounds like one!

Why didn't we (the US) accomplish our goal and finish the job in Vietnam during the Vietnam War?

I feel like since we started the conflict and spent that much time, money and lost so many lives, we should have absolutely finished and accomplish our goal, whether how much people were against the war. I think that since we withdrew, what was the point of going in in the first place, the ones who died fighting for democracy and freedom in Vietnam....I feel like they died for nothing because nothing was accomplished as the communists took over all of Vietnam?

Should I enroll in an MBA? Will it be beneficial to my career, which hasn't yet begun?

I graduated from college last June and haven't yet found a job to begin my career. I graduated in business and want to get an MBA. Because I haven't yet started my career I fear that I shouldn't go into an MBA program that maybe won't benefit me. However, since I live at home and so I won't lose momentum with my studies I am considering enrolling in an MBA program. Plus, people tell me that if I don't do it now later on in my life, "my life" will get in the way of my studies. I also think that because I am a woman and later on maybe starting a family that can get in the way of my studies. Not only that, but if I get a job and inform them that my priority is an MBA degree they may not be supportive since my focus will not only be on my first job. Should I wait or go for it now?

my son told me that he will have a spelling bee on monday...is that the national spelling bee (contest)?

he told me that his teacher told him that his joining that spelling bee and it will be exciting for him......his on 2nd grade right now?

i haven't talked to his teacher yet. but later this afternoon i have a parent conference w/his teacher....

now i'm wondering where can i get some sample test for spelling bee?? any ideas?? thanks.

why do I still think of him?

I just started seeing this guy and he is super great. Im so into him. but just the other night I heard this song on the radio and it reminded me of this other guy i use to want real bad 2 years ago and he wanted me(we cuddled one night and nothing more had ever happened), but I was not able to be with him because he is mutual friends with my x and it was such a messy situation at the time with my x trying to get me back. now I keep thinking about him again even though im with a great guy, why wont this other guy leave my mind?

Does the Earth's speed of rotation alter the effects of gravitational forces?

In other words, if the Earth's speed of rotation were to slow, would the effects of gravity increase, or does the centrifugal (or centripetal) force caused by the Earth's rotation have no effect on gravity?

Can I get sued if my neighbors dog jumped MY fence and bit the gas man?

I was wondering b/c their dog (pit bull) had jumped my fence while the gas man was there today and it scared the crap out of him. I keep my fence chain locked and luckily I was there to unlock it and get the neighbor. I also have a pit and she's not at this residence at this time. If her dog jumped my fence and the dogs fought I would be PISSED and would want to take her to court! Would she be liable in either of these circumstances? BTW I own my property and she rents.
