Anyone asks about any aspect of Islam, they respond by criticizing bible.

My question is:

1 – Why would you Muslim assume the asker is a Christian?
2 – Instead of becoming DEFENSIVE could you really answer the questions?

1. we don't, sometime question gives indication
2. we do answer the question, but if question is in a form of offend we do our best to defend as well along with the answer.

1.)Hmmm I am Muslimah and I asked a very similar question in response to a question once. I asked why everyone assumed that an individual always either had to be Christian or Muslim.
2.)I always try to answer the questions with direct quotes from Quran and Hadith, because I think answering with facts is much more beneficial than an answer of defense. That is just me though. I think a lot of people are guilty of doing just the same to Islam, taking something out of the Quran out of context to refute whatever is being asked/said. It takes time to answer a question correctly and it seems that a lot of people here get aggitated and just want to give an answer to insult the others point of view.

So if they don't answer according to whatever criteria that only you have in your mind, they should "shut up"? And people wonder why there's hardly any peace between us all. Altruism, wisdom and compassion... the logical choice.
