My girlfriend and I have irreconcilable differences and I need to end this now before things get any worse. Being patheticly attached as I am It has taken me months to muster up the resolve to just tell her its over, but the problem is, that its her Birthday this weekend on Sunday (2nd December).

I'm thinking this far in the week, since I won't be seeing her till Thursday anyway, which is 3 days before her 18th Birthday. Should I break up with her, or at least wait till Monday?

hi was just wondering if any one had experienced the amount of dehydration i have been experiencing this late in pregnancy. i am 39 weeks pregnant and i cant stop drinking. i have already been to see the midwife today for other reasons and everything is ok so its not a worry but just wanted to know if this had happened to them and other than drinking was there anything you did to stop feeling so thirsty or did u find out why u felt thirsty? cheers

theres this wierd girl at my job shes real wierd and says shes been to psychic school. she does this trick where she asks you a question tells you to think about it, writes the answer down, rumbles up the sheet ofpaper. Then she takes another one and tells you to tell her the answer. when you tell her she writes it down and just to make sure it wasnt an x I told her to write an x below the answers. shwe did and did the same thing 3 times. Then when she uncrumbled the paper they had the same answer. The one i wrote the x on even had the x. could she really have read my mind. The wierd thing is I was thinking lisandra for the first answer and she misunderstood and wrote lashonda. but the answer still poped up with the x. She says she dosnt even no how she did it and she just closes her eyes and the answer pos up in her haid. is this maic or a trick

My grandmother had a mastectomy years back, and her insurance covers a free breast prosthesis and 2 bras. The problem is, the place she was accustomed to going is no longer open! The next available certified place is Nordstroms, and the Fitting "Specialist" appears to be no older than 20 y/o, and has about as much experience as I do! We've notified our insurance company about our dilemma, they claim only Nordstroms is available in our area. It's time for her renewal, she was hardly satisfied with the bras from last year, and we have no alternative. Any suggestions out there? We're welcome to all, this is so discouraging! Thanks to all feedback!

Why is this taking so long? I am unable to find a girlfriend. I am in college and I tried joining clubs, going to parties, and I still can't get a girl. I tried meeting girls in class, and I lose contact with them. I have no idea on how to meet a girl. Maybe I don't have good personal skills with girls? What kind of attitude am I supposed to have around girls? I know you're supposed to be confident and have a sense of humor. I have those. I just...it is really getting depressing. All my friends are getting girlfriends, except me...what gives? I realize I'm complaining a lot, but this is really getting me depressed. My brother-in-law has stage four cancer and is currently going through Chemo and Radiation. He and my sister live across the country from me, and run their own small painting and renovation business. His illness has had a big impact on their business and finances. I am able to help financially, but only on a very small scale. I will be going to stay with them for a few weeks over Christmas to help with house work and the children.

I would like to ask our relatives, aunts, uncles, cousins to contribute funds but am not sure how to do it? Should I call each one? Would it be tacky to send out an alternative Christmas newsletter describing the situation and asking for donations on behalf of my sister and her family?

p.s. I have my sister's permission to raise the funds, would be asking them be sent directly to her....she just applied for social security benefits.

Any opinions, ideas, or alternative resources welcome.

I am constructing a commuter boat with a displacement hull, and just thought of this simple way of increasing hull speed without actually increasing the hull:

What if I simply attached an unbelievably long fin (the length of the boat itself) with its own, tube-shaped flotation tank, to the rear of my boat? You know, like a sea snake's tail?
It could be hinged so that it can be pulled up for mooring, and would then look like a mast with a wall.

It's going to be an 18-foot catamaran with four seats and a 8HP diesel motor. I 'd love to get at least ten knots out of it without exceeding hull speed, hence the idea of artificially extending the hull with a tail.

But would that work?

From my previous questions I've told you guys that i'm getting divorced from my husband. The original reason we decided to file divorced was because I had a miscarriage, we were both upset and as well my brother has leukemia and was going through chemo and radiation when this happened and alot of all of that took its toll on our marriage.
Yesterday when he dropped by we ended up having sex and after that experience again I realized that I do still love him, and I want to try to make it work. So today when he came by for more of his stuff I sat him down and told him exactly what I've just told you all, that I want to try to make this work and start over, and the most upsetting part was all that he said was he said he still loves me, but doesnt know if he wants to try it again and that he might be moving back to California (we both live in Chicago now.) I just don't know if it's really is too late to apologize.

from the point of view of the great majority of american citizens, can you give 3 reasons why the ordinary american worker should embrace and support the outsourcing of their jobs to india and china and other destinations?

We know there are politicians and others who advocate the free trade thing which really is code for lets find the cheapes labor across the globe and open up those huge markets for multinational corporations. We understand why they want it. But as an american citizen who has a job here and punches the clock everyday making something or selling something or providing some service, why should we embrace policies that send our jobs to other countries?
