from the point of view of the great majority of american citizens, can you give 3 reasons why the ordinary american worker should embrace and support the outsourcing of their jobs to india and china and other destinations?

We know there are politicians and others who advocate the free trade thing which really is code for lets find the cheapes labor across the globe and open up those huge markets for multinational corporations. We understand why they want it. But as an american citizen who has a job here and punches the clock everyday making something or selling something or providing some service, why should we embrace policies that send our jobs to other countries?
Thanks

Get rich quick schemes in the capitalist business world, (buyouts, IPOs, conglomerates, acquisitions, mergers, and the stock market), do not actually work. Remaining solvent does not actually exist within false economics capitalism.

Profit existing in the capitalist business world, or millionaires existing within capitalism, is pathological deception committed by the 21 organizations spying on the population with plain clothes agents, (with covert fake names and fake backgrounds).

Actual economics is the persons paying the monthly business loan payments of companies voting at work in order to control the property they are paying for.

Capitalism is the psychology of imaginary parents, false economics, and the criminal deception of employees that are paying the bills (including the stocks and bonds, or shares) of companies.

Anti-democracy republicanism is the psychology of imaginary parents, and false government.

You ask a very good question. I fear that you will not get the answer you seek. The reason being that there is no such answer. It is not logical that workers, who happen to be the great majority of the USA would consciously "embrace" the closing down of the places where they work so that their jobs are sent to other countries. We all know this. It only happens because we have lawmakers who are essentially doing the bidding of the few and the powerful who are really the ones pushing for it and who stand to get the greatest benefit. One rationale they will give you why the ordinary citizen should approve of it, is that it will make goods cheaper at the store. That may very well be, but if your job is in china and you are out of work or you are forced to take lower paying job cause jobs are scarcer here, then that is not a good trend for your ability to buy goods in the store in the future. The real winners of this "Free trading globalization" stuff are the huge corporations that are able to do business worldwide, and the growing number of billionaires who control them and of course countries like China and India whose middle classes will be growing while the big loser is the american middle and lower classes.

Ideally, it would be nice if we could keep all jobs here. But this is not a question of whether we like it or not, this is a global trend that we can not just ignore, or think we can stop. Right now, labor is cheap in China, but that is already changing and labor from there is already shifting to India, Pakistan, etc. Some day those workers jobs will shift to Africa, as it's labor market matures. It the way things work. It does no one any good to think we can sign laws ot stop this or we will instantly be outcompeted by all other countries who will use cheaper labor and be able to sell things cheaper. America's real strength is as an information/innovation engine. People who embrace those skills will be successful. It's just the way things are.

We shouldn't and the recent fiasco with China proves it.
Imagine if you will that an American company got caught doing what China did.

Sure Sure China will execute a couple mid level managers and say they are sorry. Bull

An American company in the same situation would be facing lawsuits and criminal charges not to mention protesters at their very door steps 24/7.

The only people in favor of globalization and outsourcing are the corporations who do it for cheaper production. Why did you even ask this? Looks like you know the answer.

rh saunders has given you theory but has not answered the question. He has failed to give you 3 reasons why the american working citizens should approve of the outsourcing of their jobs. Neither has jeffy B. Why should I as a worker be glad they are closing my factory and sending the job elsewhere. Why should I vote for politicians that make it easy for companies to do that? Yeah its a trend, but its a trend because people are pushing for it to happen and politicians are setting it up with laws and policies that grease the path.

Why should the american worker favor it?

Globalization makes international economy barriers to fade and therefore big companies have now the chance to establish manufacturing facilities in cheaper countries... they pay less, get more profit...

America is the first country to favor globalization... because people in there is going to specialize in intelectual jobs and not in manufacturing... your education system allows you to take that path.

Illegal mexicans plucking fruits from the fields shouldn't be the big issue like it is. Globalization and outsourcing should be, they are the ones taking jobs that middle class americans need. All made possible by George Dubya..

There is one basic concept which must always be remembered: trade creates value. The tools that I buy from Harbor Freight may be made in China, but they were designed by engineers in the US.
