Joe T, your nominee is Hillary...politician X in a paper bag will probably be able to beat her, just based on her negatives with voters.

I enjoy seeing the rabid and irrational hate of a man who has worked day and night to keep each of you safe and alive...to dispise him more. For all of you who think he's too unpopular to win, his numbers are better than congress...and he's been elected twice...and you thought it was impossible for him to win those elections too...LOL

To win an election you must have alternatives to the incumbent. What democrat candidate has an alternative, to any of Bush's positions?.
The majority, also want someone who is trustworthy. Bush has kept his word in waging this war on terror.
Put it all together, and Bush would probably win.

Bush doesn't currently have enough popularity to get the Republican nomination, much less win the general election. His has only a 25% approval rating, and even among Conservatives, he's got low ratings. More to the point, according to the latest Gallup poll, those who do still support him do so only weakly.
As crazy as the current lot of wanna-bes for the Republican nomination are, most of them would stand a better chance in 2008 than Mr. Bush, were he eligible. Even Ron Paul...

He would be defeated by an embarrassing margin. Bush Derangement Syndrome? Please. Even many Republicans disapprove of this President. You 30%er's keep hanging in there though, those blinders are so attractive. But sadly, along the way, you all have contracted your own disease. HDS. Want to take a guess what that stands for lol?

NO Bush NO Clinton NO more dynasty.
Term limits and new nepotism extensions of the current law to include one President per family tree.
I voted for each Bush and would do it again. Only wish a real woman like Condi Rice was running. This media matters has certainly worked wonders on a very vulnerable public. Let's hope they continue to wake up. The facts shall outweigh the fast food media bites and no digest reality TV public. Let's hope we are in time. The true issue is what exactly does all this money pay for during campaigns anyway? With all the poverty, homeless and causes in our nation people will donate over a BILLION dollars for egos & political gain. We are suffering alright. Lack of priorities.

As a republican, I hate to have to burst your bubble. Bush would not be reelected. He's made to many mistakes. He also isn't very good at public speaking. People just don't respond to him as well as they could for him to be a truly effective leader. I do like the man, and will miss him. But I have to admit, I'm tired of watching the news, and his latest gaff, and having to sit here and shake my head in amazement and shame.
I'm glad he's not running, I'm afraid if he were, we'd be destined to have Hillary, and that's the last thing I want!

He would lose by a landslide. Half of the people who voted for him have finally come to their senses and realized they made a mistake, leaving only the stubborn die-hard fanatics like you wasting your time praising him. I really wish he could run again, because it would absolutely guarantee we would NOT have a Republican in office for the next four years.

He'd be slaughtered in an election and everyone in America knows it.
I doubt he'd carry more than 3 states.
He's the most despised and hated American president in history andthe most incompetent ever to hold office. He is ridiculed throughout the world, and has ruined US prestige abroad.

Are you on drugs? Republicans won't be on power for a good 20 years to come because of little Bush.

He's been around making one foul up after another for so long that even republicans despise him and can't wait for him to fade away! They all wish he would just keep his big mouth shut and lock himself in the bunker until after the election!

I don't think Mr. Bush could beat anyone if he could run again. I think 'Smokey the Bear' could beat him. He would make a better president than Mr. Bush.

Guess that's why none of the Republican candidates even mention his name? Anyone with a "D" after their name is going to win this time around. You are in big time denial.
