Why do some reactions form solids in solution (precipitates), while others do not? Does the lack of a solid forming point to a non-reaction?

How can Conservatives possibly think this? Have they even heard a socialist speak before? There are real socialists in Canada and Europe, but here they are a very small party and they have not a fighting chance. Democrats are not even close to being socialist. Why do Conservatives say this and make socialism seem like a threat to the U.S. when it really is not a powerful movement in this country what so ever?

Thanksgiving is a holiday our family celebrate every year, but this time it was very emotional and tragic for us. Morning of Thanksgiving my father-in-law had a heart attack. It was a surprise to everyone. I mean he has no health problems at all. He's 56 years old and healthy as can be... We just don't know what happened. I am married to his oldest son and he is not taking it so well. Well the whole family too. As a daughter-in-law I'm trying to keep them strong and let them know there's hope. As of right now he's in the ICU for about 3 days now and it's like a 50/50 % chance he can still survive from this. I'm praying and hoping that he will come home soon to his family. The only thing the nurses and doctors been telling us, is that they are not really sure to what caused this. So, today they had ask us for permisson to take fluid from the spinal cord in his back. This is a really big descision to think about, but if anyone knows of similiar incidents please write me a answer. Thanks.

We've been dating for about a month. Everything's great except sometimes he doesn't call when he says he will. He'll say "I'll call you tomorrow" and he doesn't.

Sometimes it's two days later. Should I let him know it makes me feel bad? I look forward to talking to him, and when he doesn't call, I'm really disappointed.

I found out I was moving on June 1st. I've lived (in the place i've been living in) for five years. I really don't want to move but, I have no say in the matter. What should I do?

My son has a friend who likes to snuggle up to me and acts very gay. He likes to rough house with me when my oldest is there. I never am alone with him because he is not my son and there are always people who are quick to yell and accuse.

Well, over the Thanksgiving break he stayed the night several times with my oldest son and all three boys, my son, his friend and my youngest son would all sit next to me on the couch while we were watching movies. It has gotten cold so my son's friend (who is 11 going on 12) snuggled up to me and I put my arm around him like I do my son and my hand was on his thigh.

He is really a sweet kid and I don't know if I am being paranoid or what, was that inappropriate? Did I overstep my boundaries with him?

I think he may be somewhat gay or bi and I don't want to give him the wrong idea and I don't want to do anything wrong. His father doesn't have much to do with him and his mom is remarried but his step-dad isn't very affectionate with him.

Im married, trying to get a divorce, i have two kids 2year old and a 11month, i would love to join the airforce, im 24 going to 25 by march, im 5.3 135 pounds. I wanna have a better future for my kids and me, and this is the only way i see it, i always wanted to joing the military, i just didn't know which one, but now that i made up my mind, i don't know if its too late with all these happening in my life. Can somobody please tell me if its ok for me to join now? and if i would be elegible to do so? i wanna serve my country and get a career to support my kids in the future. what do i need to persue my dream?

I am a women. Just wanted to know why a women has the choice of having a baby or killing it but a man has no choice? Why if she choses to keep it he has to pay child support or if she choses to kill it he can do nothing about it. It is just as much his baby as it is hers and he should get just as much choice as her.

my girlfriend and i were really good friends and hung out everyday, because it was someone who went threw the same thing and was going threw the same thing.....and we were both single moms....now she has a bf, and its like KK WHO? and im happy that shes happy, but i wish she had something more to talk about then her man.....am i jealous that she has a bf and has less to offer then i do...or is it just in my head? i want to be a good friend about this but i dont know how. i have never been the single one and its been 3 yrs now, when am i gonna right mr.right it isnt fare.
