I'm applying English Language and Literature programs (some PhD, some Master's).
How much will my score affect my chances?

Considerably, and congratulations on great scores! The GRE speaks to potential, though, not achievement, so they could potentially be a problem if your undergraduate GPA is not very good, which might mean that you were an underachiever. What this can do for you is that if you graduated from a less-than-stellar school with good grades, it can give credibility to your grades.
