be one position in the NHL, what would it be and why?

Part II: what about any player in the NHL, who would it be and why?

I'd be a goalie cuz i've been playing that for 11 years and I love it.

I'd be Tomas Holmstrom because he is just friggin awesome!

A man with a bad stomach complaint goes to his doctor and asks him what he can do.
The doctor replies that the illness is quite serious, but can be cured by inserting a suppository up his anal passage. The man agrees and so the doctor warns him of the pain, tells him to bend over and shoves the thing way up his behind. The doctor then hands him a second does and tells him to do the same thing in six hours. So, the man goes home and later that evening tries to get the second suppository inserted, but he finds that he cannot reach himself properly to obtain the required depth. He calls his wife over and tells her what to do. The wife nods, puts one hand on his shoulder to steady him and with the other shoves the medicine home.
Suddenly the man screams, "Arrgghhhh!"
"What's the matter?" asks the wife, "Did I hurt you?"
"No," replies the man, "but I just realised that when the doctor did that, he had BOTH hands on my shoulder."

I recently had my baby shower and am in the process of trying to write out thank you notes to the people who came and brought me presents. I am a very personal person and am usually good at doing this kind of stuff but I am kind of drawing a blank. I don't find it necessary to thank them specifically for each and every gift. Does anyone have any good creative ideas on what I could write in the thank you notes? Serious answers only please.

We are having our Thanksgiving tomarrow. So almost everyone here who is going to celebrate has..so your recipe was tested on Thursday. If it was good can I have the recipe? I want to make a brown gravy for my tofu turkey. AND NO I prefer not to just buy one. I love to cook. SO since you guys have already tested it out for sure...spill. Now you have to include all the details unless they are a given. K. Thanx guys.

Oh a mushroom gravy or something like that would go good too. It's not a Tofurkey..I made it myself...but the seasonings are almost exactly the ones you put on a real dead turkey......rosemary..celery..oninon..herbs that are in a normally herb stuffing...not going to name them all but you get the picture of what it's going to taste like. If you think some other gravy might go good by all means share......always willing to try new things that sound tasty.

My husband and I are separated with a 2 1/2 year old. My husband is very close to his sister who is a neuro-psychologist. When my kid goes to his dad's, he spends a lot of time with the sister, ( the auntie ). She has no children...and treats our son like her own. One day, when I was present, our boy said, " i have to pee"...the sister...who hates me...completely ignores me and says to my ex..."oh, is that what we're calling it now? pee?" she has also instructed my ex that it is inappropriate to use the words "fart","poo", or "boobies"...she is suggesting that we teach him to say " pass gas", or "breasts"...i'm waiting for her to tell him it's a bowel movement or that he has flatulence... am I wrong to take offense at her being overly politically correct & not letting my toddler speak like a toddler? oh, and it bugs the $%#@*! outta me that she refers to the situation as "we" meaning her and my ex, as if she's the parent...would that piss you off? this is just an example of many

so there is this boy, and we have been off and on for about 8 months now. earlier this week he told me how much he loves me and stuff and he wants to be with me, you know all the sweet stuff. yesterday was my birthday and i expected him to at least talk to me. he walked right past me, went to his table and sent me a text message saying happy birthday and i was pissed? did i over exaggerate? than it lead to this huge fight and i told him i dont want to talk to him again and that was it. we havent talked since. i figure if he really loved me he wouldnt be asshamed to tell me happy birthday in person, and also wouldnt let me go that easily.

A mother was working in the kitchen listening to her 5-year-old son playing with his new electric train in the living room. She heard the train stop and her son saying, "All of you sons of bitches who want off, get the hell off now...because this is the last stop! And all of you sons of bitches who are getting on, get your asses in the train...because we're going down the tracks."

The horrified mother went in and told her son, "We don't use that kind of language in this house. Now I want you to go to your room and you are to stay there for TWO HOURS. When you come out, you may play with your train .... but I want you to use nice language."

Two hours later, the son came out of the bedroom and resumed playing with his train. Soon the train stopped and the mother heard her son say..."All passengers, please remember your things, thank you and hope your trip was a pleasant one. We hope you will ride with us again soon."

She heard her little darling continue..."For those of you just boarding, remember, there is no smoking in the train. We hope you will have a pleasant and relaxing journey with us today."

As the mother began to smile, the child added, "For those of you who are pissed off about the TWO HOUR delay.....please see the ***** in the kitchen...."
