wats so BIG about people smoking weed or hash?? and dont **** talk me with that "its agenst the law" crap!! so is under age drinking and having sex befour your 16 but dose that stop everyone??

i agree! weed is less toxic than tobacco and alcohol, more enjoyable, and possibly even ( i believe it is) beneficial to the human mind when not smoked excessively. it would actually be safer if marijuana was legal, because it would get rid of the weird processes people use to dry it. and freaking twelve million people use it, its about time they care more for our health than ruining our good times!

okay, i know i already answered this one in exactly the same way, but yeah. same question, couldnt help myself.

to natalie, it is addicting psychologically only because it is so freakin enjoyable. it isnt addicting physically like hard drugs like heroin and cocaine and such.

and you people are saying it "messes with your mind". yes it does, it totally expands it and makes you think beyond the realms of normal thinking. when used in moderation, it really is a beautiful drug. everyone that's never tried is truly missing out on a good experience.

and dude, dont tell me it leads to other drugs like meth and crack, or that its a "gateway drug"

Teenagers are far from ignorant. In fact, we're very aware. If the parents didn't stress it, the schools certainly did (unless it was an abstinence only policy). Underage sex is just as "illegal" as toking, smoking and drinking underage, etc. The majority of us aren't ignorant about that at all. Drinkings illegal until 21 in the US because the frontal lobes of the brain aren't fully developed until young adulthood, around the age of 25. But having alcohol being illegal until that age would be a bit absurd. Fifteen year olds can get it. Personally, if the teenagers are in a committed, loving relationship, I believe there isn't a problem with sex at all. I think one night stands are ridiculous, at any age. Adults do it just as much, if not more, than teenagers. Why aren't they getting a bad rap for it? Oh right, because they're making the conscience DECISION. And you know what? So are we. The threat of lawful punishment isn't a very scary one for most teenagers, who have no idea of the consequences they can face.

I think smoking weed is fine but I live in an are of the world that is much more open minded towards it. That said I don't think teenagers should be smoking it let you body and mind develop before experimenting and stay away from chemicals.

Because it makes people happy and the government can't afford that. Make people too happy and they may realize that they don't need a government.

They're starting to make it legal, it almost is in California. And there isn't anything wrong with it at all, I find it to work wonders with clinical depression, i used to take meds that made me all weird but those never really did anything anyway, but now I feel a lot better, its helped a lot.

i love weed, i think everybody needs to smoke it and the world would be a better place if everybody smoked weed.

i only smoke weed when all the important things are DONE for the day. that way its a TREAT for my accomplishment and I KNOW WE ALL TREAT ARE SELF'S NOW AND THEN.

but, i all honesty weed does become a problem when you let it stop you from achieving anything you want in life.

actually it is bad. Weed has a easy addiction kick to it. It messes with your mind and makes you way to happy. That is the high state but it can be worse. You can get so addicted to it that you are doing other drugs like meth crack and needle. If you want to do it, go do it instead of being on yahoo worrying us with your issues. And just to make you mad, Weed is against the law!!! Let the cops find you with a load of it and you could be looking at 10 to 20 years just for possession of drugs.I know a cop and you don't wanna try it. Weed also reduces white blood cells that fight off infections. It kills other cells and you could get cancer. You can be a junkie if you want but kids, Don't smoke weed.

Yeah, but at the same time...it makes you stupid and it also impares driving and daily function. It can destroy your brain, lungs and other bodily functions. You lose control over yourself...I know a lot of people will say, "I'm fine when I smoke" but do it for 30 years and see if you make it that long...

well i think underage drinking is wrong as well as sex that young so i think its okay for me to think that smokgin weed is wrong too. if you really want to change the law then write your congressman and give logical reasons why it should be legalized (boost the ecomony by taxing it, freeing up court space but not having court dates for posession of marijuana) Before you start bashing the law and saying this you need to do your homework. I am a conservative and do not like it
