Either that or just find someone as similar as possible to the one who it could never work out with and try again.
It's a seemingly endless repetive cycle, until you finally realise it will all be over sooner or later.

I actually TRY to enjoy every moment and make a good thing last, but THAT takes two. It's sometimes healthier just to move on.......

Oddly enough, I find myself trying to repair other people's broken relationships. Not always, though. Sometimes I tell them that they're better off without him/her, and give them advice for just getting over it. My current relationship is more a matter of regular maintenance than repairing.

...I will try to rectify friendships that have soured or repair family disputes the best I can...but, sometimes, it reaches a point where I'm just shoveling sand against the tide...that's when I turn and take a long solitary stroll down my imaginary beach, looking for sand dollars and sea shells as I go...souvenirs, I guess
