My daughter is almost 6 months old and is eating mashed fruits and veggies. After about 3 days of this my period started. First one since before I conceived her... I found this website mymonthlycycles.com to help me calculate when I should be ovulating and I just don't get it. If I have an average cycle of 28 days, then I should ovulate 14 days later, but if my period lasts 14-16 days, then when would I be ovulating? If anyone could help me out here I would be so grateful. Now that I know I am definately fertile again, I may choose to be a little more careful about me and my husbands 'love making sessions' and keep track of all this period business.

Ok... this is what happened... I was drinking in this girls apartment on our college campus and the cops came in (city cops, not school cops) and they asked everyone who was 21... I said i was and i was the only 21 year old in the apartment. The cop took me outside and said wait there. He went back inside for a good bit with my ID and got all my information. He came back out saying that 4 out of 5 people said that i supplied all the alcohol in the apartment. I told him that i did not purchase any alcohol that night (which was the truth). He came back out and said that he was going to give me a ticket for contributing to underage possesion. I then was walked outside and told that i was not able to leave until a friend came and picked me up. he came and got me and thats what my ticket says is "contributing to underage possesion". What do i do now? how much will this fine be? what should i do if i have to go to court? do i have to go to court or can i just pay it through the mail

Ralph and Edna were both patients in a mental hospital. One day while they were walking past the hospital swimming pool, Ralph suddenly jumped into the deep end. He sank to the bottom of the pool and stayed there. Edna promptly jumped in to save him. She swam to the bottom and pulled Ralph out.
When the Head Nurse became aware of Edna's heroic act she immediately ordered her to be discharged from the hospital, as she now considered her to be mentally stable.
When she went to tell Edna the news she said,"Edna, I have good news and bad news. The good news is you're being discharged; since you were able to rationally respond to a crisis by jumping in and saving the life of another patient, I have concluded that your act displays sound mindedness. The bad news is, Ralph, the patient you saved, hung himself with his bathrobe belt in the bathroom. I am so sorry, but he's dead."

I know a lot of people who have made comments to me and my friends in the course of my life. Things like "freak", "confused", "they're messed up", "that's sick" ect.

I'd just like to say this...we're all people. When it comes down to it, it's not gonna matter if we're black, white, yellow, red, gay, straight, bi, trans, whatever.

If you were dying, bleeding on the street somewhere, is it gonna matter WHO'S saving your life? What's gonna matter is that the person cared enough about you to help you. That person didn't see your skin color, your sexual preference, or anything else. They saw another human being in need.

I work in the health care field. I can't pick and choose who I run lab tests on. I can't only give GLBT people "good" news and straight people "bad" news. Because in my line of work, I have to help everyone, and disease is disease. It doesn't discriminate. I may even save the life of a "homophobe" one day. But it's worth it, because I

okay this is what i will eat for tomorrow. any suggestions on if its good or what i should change:

breakfast - 3 egg whites and a half a grapefruit
snack - yogurt
lunch - steamed veggies
snack - some kind of fruit
dinner - maybe chicken or fish with a vegetable

roughly how many calories do you think this will be???

See I'm 13 weeks.

period stopped and got the symptoms. ive been through morning sickness and everything lol.... but havent had ultrasound or anything yet.. but ive got a little bump..

I mean i really feel this instinctive maternal love for the baby.. but in another way it still does not feel real yet.. you know? For all I know I could have some wierd disease that stopped my period, ive gained weight for no reason etc etc lol

When did it first become real for you?

I think in a couple days when i got for first antenatal appointment and hear the heartbeat, It will finally sink in :)

Its wierd though cause im very much looking forward to meeting my first bubby

The laws that are already on the books punish business and common people from hiring or getting services rendered from a illegal citizen ( no matter the country of origin) If we not only enforced these existing laws but made tremendously more harsh laws wouldnt this fix the problem, I mean no jobs = no illegals, Illegals hurt the us economy in many ways they pollute the job pool bringing down the wages of all, the ones who have crews and do landscaping and construction do not pay payroll taxs or workers comp, etc forcing legit companies to go out of business for failer to compete, they send a big portion of their earnings back to their homeland there for not helping the United States economy, they are overloading the Healthcare system by getting services rendered and never paying, the taxes we all pay to keep up our infrastructer like roads bridges etc they do not pay , so what good are they doing???? please excuse any mispelled words

I'm not saying let them into Heaven, but he could easily create a middle ground where they could live forever without being burned by eternal flames.

This prayer really shouldn't interfere with his divine plan more than any other prayers. In fact, God may like it when he sees how caring you are.

After all, most non-Christians are just imperfect human beings who were not convinced about the reality of Jesus.

So would you pray that God will let all those people out of Hell? You know, give them some ho-hum place that isn't Heaven and isn't Hell?
