A good clean down with maine and tail every spring followed by a stiff brush and a light trim with the Number 6 clippers should do nicely.

Whatever you do ... don't wax! It will cause a rash something shocking on your toosh!

WHEN ever they start stepping on it..
there is nothing funnier than to see them
do this...I even got on "AMERICAS FUNNITST VIDOES" WITH this habit they have of tripping..it is really funny...
But you may hear from PETA though.
