The laws that are already on the books punish business and common people from hiring or getting services rendered from a illegal citizen ( no matter the country of origin) If we not only enforced these existing laws but made tremendously more harsh laws wouldnt this fix the problem, I mean no jobs = no illegals, Illegals hurt the us economy in many ways they pollute the job pool bringing down the wages of all, the ones who have crews and do landscaping and construction do not pay payroll taxs or workers comp, etc forcing legit companies to go out of business for failer to compete, they send a big portion of their earnings back to their homeland there for not helping the United States economy, they are overloading the Healthcare system by getting services rendered and never paying, the taxes we all pay to keep up our infrastructer like roads bridges etc they do not pay , so what good are they doing???? please excuse any mispelled words

It would help if our government followed and enforced the laws they expect the common American to abide by.

Here is my ideal's to solve our problems.

1.Enforce the current Laws.
2. Revise the laws of citizenship from born in the US to born of at least 1 parent of US citizenship and go back 5-10 years for qualifications for a better effect.
3. Stop allowing illegals to go to public schools (this will stop the free daycare to allow the illegals to work and quite taking education money from OUR CHILDREN).
4. Allow the government to seize all illegals belongings except the minimum clothing as they do when they bust drug offenders. This will stop people form renting them homes, self-financing them for cars, land, and homes, and be a better deterrent of them from coming here. No car, no home, no job, no reason to be here. They must be more accountability and consequences for them than a free ride home or nothing will change.
5. Pass a law that states that only citizens or proper authorized individuals may bank or send money by money transfers. Force a mandatory proof of citizenship or proper paperwork to do such. This will cripple their ability to send money back to Mexico, and will work if severe penalties are placed to convict anyone whom breaks the law knowingly or commits fraud if they do it for them.
6. New law that those harboring illegals will lose citizenship.

Or we can fix it ourselves by not voting representatives whom are not doing anything about this problem and let them know how we feel, boycott any business using or selling products from illegal labor, because united we stand and divided we fall, but we must unite for this to work and do more than talk about it.

Simply put, me must either cripple the economic prosperity of either the illegals or the business's that are making money from this illegal act.

You did not state what the problem is. Republicans are illogical when they say they are against illegal immigration: The costs they point to are: 1) Enforcement. Enforcement would not be necessary if there was amnesty 2) Jobs. Republicans don't care about your job. They let firms go to Mexico, why not let more efficient workers come here? 3) More spent on social services. Services that they don't want. Besides, if there was amnesty, there would be less impact on social services as immigrants could get higher paying jobs, health insurance, run their own contracting or small businesses. Everyone knows why the Republicans don't like immigration. It has nothing to do immigration status.

Just read where a Governor of one of our states is going after illegals and employers. There is a large number of people in that area that are fighting the idea. Alot of time and effort is going into addressing the Mexican people as the problem, but the whole picture of all immigrates coming into the United States, legal and illegal needs to be looked at. Yes the Mexicans are crossing the boarders and getting into the states, but no one looks at the different Visas that have been issued, have expired and the people are still here.living off of the American tax payers. It is a bigger crisis than what people understand, and can resolve within a few years.

It would be a tremendous help. Jobs in the USA attract both illegal and legal workers.

If employers were punished for hiring aliens who did not have authorization to work in the U.S., there would no longer be the attraction that brings them here.

We have laws on the books right now (since 1986) that are designed to go after companies that hire illegal aliens. All the government lacks is the willingness to enforce those laws.

It wouldn't solve it completely, but it would help. Most illegal immigrants wouldn't come to the U.S. if they couldn't get a job here. Companies that hire illegal aliens are pure evil. They force the illegal aliens that work for them to work long hours for a fraction of the minimum wage. These companies are practically enslaving illegal aliens while cheating Americans out of jobs- all so that their executives can make more money. I think the government should impose heavy fines for companies caught hiring illegal aliens, and the responsible individuals should be imprisoned.

That is only part of the solution. You are right take away their jobs and it will be harder on them.

We also need to take away their support in the Government.

We need to stop allowing our childrens college tuition to pay for their programs like MEChA.

We need to impeach elected officials who place their ethinc background before their fellow citizens.

One Racist Committee member
Two College Professors
FIVE ELECTED US OFFICIALS

This is their Agenda, they are open about it.

Then come back and answer the questions.

Are we in a war?
Are we being invaded?
Should we begin to fight back, with force if they won’t leave on their own?

Joe Bacca, US Senator: “The Latinos are coming….Our Agenda is to increase our numbers…We CAN”T go back, we are in a civil WAR….United Latinos will win.”

Armondo Navarro, Professor-UC Riverside: “…so we can wage a war against those racists that are trying to continue to discriminate…”

Big business does not care what you or I want. Big business is also a part of Big government. Illegals are here to stay. If they care that much, don't you think there would be more scrambling for new laws by now?
The answer of course, is no. And another answer is that big business and government like things just as they are.
So dream on.

Eliminating the jobs, cutting off handouts and freebies and persecution of violators will solve some of the problem. Securing the borders will take care of the rest.

That should be our first step. Enforce the current laws and close the borders.

In fact, that would propably solve most of the illegal trouble.

Now to just find a congress around here who has the balls to do it.
