This comes from someone with experience. What I did to keep my mind off from the person I liked sooo much were:
1) to hang out with my friends and share my problems with them. don't go through it alone. always talk about it to your closest friends. Go out and have fun!
2) Write down all the negative stuff the guy did to you and ask yourself did you deserve to be treated like that? He can't treat you like trash! Be strong and know that no guy can bring you down.
3) Join organizations, clubs or anything fun. Keep yourself busy. Gain new friends. Find a nice guy. If you like another one then test him a bit.. get to know him more to discover if he's a true guy or a plain user.
if you get the idea and follow through it - that guy will be a stranger in you rmind and in your life in no time. good luck with everything. hope i helped. =D

The same thing happened to my other friend. I just told her that you can't just look at a guy's looks and stuff and i knew that she looked deeper than just that. you're probly still thinking about him because he was all cutesy pootsey with you and gave you a lot of attention and catered to you but you need to learn that that is all an act just to use you. You have to realize and comprehend what he is doing. You're falling right into his trap. And now that he has moved on, he has destroyed you into still wanting him. Don't give him the satisfaction. Move on, he's not right for you and you know it. Be happy that you know he's not the right one and then you won't have to worry about it any more. That will get your mind off of him.

Look up the words "oxalic acid" and why it maters to women. Realize your physical addiction is caused by hormones for awhile but that it will pass.
Go out into the world and do something GOOD for others for awhile.. you will forget all about that heart pain as you supply yourself with self respect.

this may be the wrong advice...
but actuali... after time... all the memories fade smudge and warp.
i dont think its fair on yourself trying so hard to forget.
be happy it happened at all. treasure the sweet memories while they last... because them memories fading is the only thing you can truely be sure of.
then you can look back and smile, coz you wont be left with any resentments or regrets tehehe ^^

If school or work doesn't fill your time, try taking extra courses or volunteering. You might meet someone interesting.
It's human nature to want what you can't have :-(

I am going to give you a principle that is universal throughout the world. Think really hard and you will figure it out....
Only a user can be used.

just think of how he treated you and how he might do it to someone else, try to convince urself he was way worse than u think he is now...there is no real way to just forget about it ..you just have to wait till u stop caring...just push the process
