We have population more than 1/6th of the world. Still never any Olympic games have been held in India. One wonders when would it be possible to see games being held in our country?

Little Johnny had become a real nuisance while the men tried to concentrate on their Saturday afternoon poker game. His father tried in every way to get Johnny to occupy himself, but the youngster insisted on running back and forth behind the players and calling out the cards they held.

The players became so annoyed that they threatened to quit the game. At this point, the boy's uncle stood up, took Johnny by the hand, and led him out of the room. The uncle returned in a short time without Johnny and without comment, and the game resumed.

For the balance of the afternoon, there was no trouble from Johnny. After the game had ended and the players were settling their wins and losses, one of the men asked Johnny's uncle, "What in the world did you do to Johnny?"

"Not much," the boy's uncle replied. "I showed him how to jerk off."

I have 1 D-Link ADSL router with 4 ethernet ports, now I got a laptop and I need to connect it to the router with a WiFi connection, but the router does not have any WiFi capabilities.

My question is: is there any device which I can get and connect it to the ethernet port of the router, and this device will act as a WiFi transmitter and receiver which will be connected to may laptop, is there anything like that?

So, the connection will go from my laptop to this device to the router.

thanks a lot

I grew up in California and I can't stand it there. I'm not too keen on Virginia (where I live now). I want to live somewhere where I can look out my window and not see any people. I want to actually be able to own LAND. I want to own a couple horses. I want to feel at peace and I want people to stay out of my way so I can focus on my family, my home, and my animals. Where in the country do you think is worth visiting so I can start deciding where I want to live once my husband gets out of the Navy?

I recently got a 5 gallon tank for my betta. The smallest he was ever in was a 2 gallon. I've noticed that in the 5 gallon he just stays at the top all the time. He doesn't really "use" the rest of the water. So I was thinking, is it really that terrible to have your betta in a 1/2 gallon to 2 gallon tank?

Question #1

If the non custodial parent never paid child support, because the parent sign away his rights when the child was about 2 years of age, & the child is now 11, (8) years passed & a case was never opened, can the custodial parent (mom) file for child support??? She would have to give him his rights back first right???

Question #2

If the father is paying the mom child support for his child- the legal way, & mom goes to court & say she don't want anymore child support- she's not on assistance or anything, will the case stay open for the future in case if it doesn't go well with the parent (father), or you can't re-open it again once you close it?????

Thanks in advanced.

Accourding to accepted science, the Big Bang is how we got here, and we (people) couldn't have ended up here unless the big bang set in motion some sort of evolution (or the theory is wrong - whichever)
SO because of that, the big bang, requires evolution, to complete it's means of getting us here.

AND evolution from a big rock, to chemical soup, to amebas, to fish or whatever, so dinosaurs? then to small animals, then to everything else, requires that when we began -
which the big bang theory states was a big bang
we had a hunk of rock and carbon and nitrogen.
So those things had to fuse to create all other naturaly accouring chemicals, which then had to chance get together and create living organisms.
THAT ^^ is in no way reproducable, and therefor is not a scientific theory.

In the music biz, it's like the labels are looking for people who suck. 'Suck' is the new standard. For every Stevie Wonder you've got 10,000 tone-deaf models.

Same thing with film acting. For every Meryl Streep, you've got 10,000 sorry excuses for thespians.

What's going on? Is corporate America TRYING to destroy the arts, or is it somehow more profitable to do business with no-talent hacks?

My fiance [well his family or mine don't know that we're engaged yet] has invited me to spend Thanksgiving with his family. His family hasn't ever known about me because he's been away at college. We've just been putting it off telling our families. It'll be for a week & I'm nervous. I've never stayed over w/ a guy at a folks home & I'm nervous. He says they'll love me, but idk. Advice?
