Hi, I am brand new to the site, so sorry! I am trying to set up a wireless network within my home, and have an Actiontec Wireless-ready dsl gateway connected directly to my P.C. The wireless is not active on the modem. With this connection to my PC, I am trying to create a home network wireless system that my laptop can use to access the internet with. I have been successful in creating a wireless network between the PC and laptop using the Actiontec USB Wireless Adaptor (802.11b) connected to my PC, and Actiontec Wireless PC Card (802CAT 1) connected to my laptop. However, attempts to bridge the wireless to dsl lan connections have not helped, and allowing shared internet options have failed as well, giving an error message relating to the IP addresses. First of all, I bought the Wireless PC Card in hopes of directly plugging it into the Gateway to make the modem wireless. Is this the right card? And secondly, if not, how can I share the internet connections? Thanks a bunch!!

Let's take inventory on what is being disallowed by Atheists...
1) No crosses on the graves of Christians
2) No Bibles allowed in a courthouse...personal or government.
3) A Jewish judge's 10 commandments plaque banned from chambers.
4) Refusing to allow Muslim children to say their prayers at school.
5) No religious clubs on school grounds...Jewish, Christian, or Muslim a like
The last time I checked, the 1st Amendment is in effect which states there is to be no ESTABLISHED religion including Atheism and that each individual has the right to exercise his religion as he sees fit. So, my questions...
How many people feel that their 1st Amendment rights have been violated by the Atheists?
Who has been shown intolerance by an Atheist? How?
Have you ever been suspended from school for saying a prayer or reading the Bible to yourself?
Why is it that the Atheists, who scream that everyone shows intolerance to them are more intolerant to the people than any Christian?

A child has become sick with lead poisoning from plates her parents bought. Since lead is so toxic what value does lead add to the production of plates? How is the lead and ceramic bound together?

ok, i've pretty much faced the fact that i'm just not hot and not even cute like other boys my age(i'm 19). how do i make women think of me as sexy or AT LEAST cute and flattering to get attention from like other guys my age. i'm so tired of women seeing most guys my age as much sexier than me and only wanting their attention. the fact that they can make grown up, educated, pretty women crave attention from them makes me feel so pathetic.

i need some real answers. usually, i just get the "be confident and be yourself" stuff, but the fact is, that doesn't help anyone. there are plenty of confident guys out there whom women NEVER look at sexually and would prefer attention from a cute guy any day. please, i need someone to help me for real.

Other than the verse stating that the sins of the father will be visited upon the son, where does it say that you are held accountable on Judgment Day for sins that others commit?

Anywhere?

And does the father's "sin visiting" upon the son mean that the son will be held accountable for the father's sins on Judgment Day?

If it's the case that you aren't held accountable for others' sins on Judgment Day, then as long as the law protects people from harm, why should you care at all whether other people are sinning?

I had a baby 26 days ago... she arrived about 4 weeks early. She's pretty active, and by that I mean she likes attention... she likes being held... she likes to be around people and noise... and wakes up a lot at night. I'm glad she's healthy and doesn't have any serious problems since she's kind of premature. But ever since she was born I've been having in laws visiting from left and right. Thanksgiving vacation is near n i got more in laws planning to come with 2 adults, 3 loud noisy annoying children that i'm really not so fond of having near my baby due to flu season and all. Additionally, I've had no down time, no rest and quiet since i've returned from the hospital. How do i convey the message of wanting to be alone with my baby and husband without offending anybody? Does anyone out there think i'm being a bit hasty? I just want to be alone I guess because nothing in my house has really been in order due to so much visitation. What do you guys think...

Ok, extensive blood work in. Everything ok except chloresterol 210. Urinealysis ok. Kidney x rays ok.
Doctor placed this 50 year old man on tremador and vicon for pain in lower back right side. I have this pain for 3 weeks now and no let up in sight.
What should I do next or what might it be? Pain pills give me relief, but underlying pain still there.
I have never been to a chiorpractor in my life> Is this an option? Thanks. Any comments appreciated.

Okay, I'm going to re-word my last question. Just out of curiosity, I was just wondering how far is San Jose, CA to Sunnyvale, CA by foot? I have a friend who will be traveling to San Jose at the end of December and he told me that he wants to travel from San Jose to Sunnyvale by foot. I looked at a map and I told him he was nuts if he was going to travel by foot. But just out of curiosity how far is it and HOW LONG, on average, does it take to travel by foot between those two points?

even if i do heeps of sport is it ok to eat excessively unheathy?
i used to eat mc donalds like 5 times a week but do sport the same amount too... do they cancel each other out? if not, what may i most likely be doing to myself... heart/health related etc.

You don't invent anything. You've never discovered anything. The most famous engineers, mathematicians, scientists, explorers, philosophers, doctors and computer programmers - ALL men. You underachieve at work. Despite having more advantages than men nowadays you rarely get female Managing Directors. You do poorly on SATs, and in IQ tests. You have poor general knowledge, are less likely to do science (i.e. useful) degrees and more likely to do arts (i.e. useless) degrees. Less than half the members of MENSA are women.

The one field you don't totally suck in is the arts: and even then there are just as many, or more, great male writers & painters. Men are funnier (100 great male comedians for every decent female one). Very few female film directors - and most of them make romantic comedy. Where is the female Mozart or Beethoven? Its in really great shape. Hardly any markings on it. It has a synthetic stock. Leupold scope mounted.
A friend is trying to sell it. He thinks its worth at least $800. I doubt that much.

Has anyone ever used weight loss supplements or diet pills that really worked and they were impressed with. I'm not obese so I really don't think my Dr. would prescribe me anything. So, what do you think? I already exercise a little and I know nothing is overnight and there is no quick fix.

Hello. I was in a car accident about 5 years ago and had to have a complete reconstruction on my right ankle with a plate and 3 screws. Now it seems that at least one of the screws is making its way back out of the bone and is extremely painful. I have been sent for a consult for ortho surgery to have one or more of them removed, and I have no idea what to expect. Has anyone had surgery like this before? What kind of recovery time are we talking about? Is it as painful as the original operation? Thanks for any advice ^_^

I just answered another posters' question about not wanting a traditional ring and band set as her wedding rings. And the question kind of popped into my mind after answering her, What makes the marriage officially legit? I mean is it the wedding band that seals the union between man and wife or is it more of the marriage license that makes things official for the couple? Also where did the tradition of the wedding band come from in the first place? Because I think I had heard that in the olden times it was just one ring worn on the middle finger of the left hand. But not really sure where the second band idea came from or why they are both meant to be worn on the ring finger of the left hand. Sorry if this is many questions in one, but they are all related.

Why is it that you're not allowed to wear jeans to an interview? Not all jeans look casual; some jeans, when matched up correctly, can look very conservative and sophosticated. Also, isn't it the overall look that matters? As long as you're well put together and you're nice and tidy, shouldn't you be able to get hired?
