Its in really great shape. Hardly any markings on it. It has a synthetic stock. Leupold scope mounted.
A friend is trying to sell it. He thinks its worth at least $800. I doubt that much.

SC...He's a little on the high side..A Winchester Model 70 (Late Production) Standard 7mm Rem Mag Rifle is worth around $470-$525 these days. He probably spent top dollar on the Leupold Scope so he is probably trying to re-coup his money he laid out for that too. The Magnum 70's never came with a factory synthetic stock so that's probably and add-on too. You didn't mention what kind of Leupold Scope it has but it would logically be one of the better Leupold models to stand up to the recoil. It's of course up to you and how bad you want it but I would try to feel him out a little more to see what he will actually take for it...I would go about $600, without seeing the Scope.......
