We are in touch for two years via email and tell things and ask each other lots of different questions about each other. And each time we get fonder of the other! What does it mean? (we want to meet but have not yet due to busy schedules) Is it a relationship? What is it?

"I'm going fishing." Really means... "I'm going to drink myself dangerously
stupid and stand by a stream with a stick in my hand, while
the fish swim by in complete safety."

"It's a guy thing." Really means.... "There is no rational thought pattern
connected with it, and you have no chance at all of making
it logical."

"Can I help with dinner?" Really means... "Why isn't it already on the
table?"

"Uh huh, " "Sure, honey, " or "Yes,
dear." Really means... Absolutely nothing. It's a conditioned
response.

"It would take too long to explain." Really means... "I have no idea how it works."

"I'm getting more exercise lately." Really means... "The batteries in the remote are
dead."

"We're going to be late." Really means... "Now I have a legitimate excuse to
drive like a maniac."

"Take a break, honey, you're working too hard."
Really means...."I can't hear the game over
the vacuum cleaner."

I've been with my husband for 10 years now and our relationship has been very troubled since the beggining. From lies in the beggining of the relationship, where he told me he had sex with all these girls, and just last year I found out it was just lies, to things like flirting with other women, etc. Until last year I caught him writing love letters to a girl and went out with her a few times. He insists he didn't have sex with her, but saying things like "I love you, you are always in my mind" to "I will never forget you....", I really don't know if that is worse.

He has never shouted at me, hit me, or anything like that, but the other thing I always complained about is that for him his family is always first, I seem to be at the bottom of the list all the time.

A month ago I told him that I didn't love him anymore, and he hasn't stopped crying since, but I just can't be horrible to him, and don't want to give the wrong impression. I care about him, but I don't love him.

I'm making my own wedding invitations and need to find a way to stick organza type ribbon to card. Obviously normal glue like pritt stick will come through the ribbon and make it sticky, are there any ways to do it without making all the ribbon sticky? Would glue dots work, or some sort of spray glue? Any suggestions much appreciated! :-)

Dr Muhammed Bari, leader of the Muslim Council of Great Britain, has stated his aim of integrating more Islamic beliefs into British society. 'British people could benefit from arranged marriages' he has stated, as well as advocating the banning of alcohol from all public places.

This declaration comes in a week when the head of MI5 warns that some 2000 people in the UK are suspected of involvement in terrorist activity, with children as young as 15 being 'groomed' to be suicide bombers.

And a recent report by the Policy Exchange think tank has found that the bookshop at the East London Mosque, chaired by Mohammed Bari, stocks and sells extremist literature.
The Muslim Council of Great Britain itself has been accused of having links to extremists.

What do British people think about incorporating more Islamic beliefs into society? What do British Muslims think about Bakri's ideas?

Assuming they're conventionally invisible, intangible, inaudible and can only be "experienced" by self-suggestion (i.e. if you believe in them already)..... then irrespective of whether they actually exist or not, there will always be those who believe they've seen them and thus believe they exist.... and those who are 100% certain that they do not and cannot.

So where is the difference?
Can anyone honestly provide a difference between the existence or nonexistence of any god (including the one with a capital G) that isn't purely supposition of an active imagination?
And on anything besides a mental level and the consequences thereof... how is the life of someone who does believe any different from the life of one who doesn't?

{ For the record... I originally determined that God doesn't exist simply because any existence he might have is purely arbitrary and not perceivably necessary, thus eliminating him by Ockham's Razor. }

A man walks into a bar and asks the bartender, "If I show you a really good trick, will you give me a free drink?" The bartender considers it, then agrees. The man reaches into his pocket and pulls out a tiny rat. He reaches into his other pocket and pulls out a tiny piano. The rat stretches, cracks his knuckles, and proceeds to play the blues.

After the man finished his drink, he asked the bartender, "If I show you an even better trick, will you give me free drinks for the rest of the evening?" The bartender agrees, thinking that no trick could possibly be better than the first. The man reaches into his pocket and pulls out a tiny rat. He reaches into his other pocket and pulls out a tiny piano. The rat stretches, cracks his knuckles, and proceeds to play the blues. The man reaches into another pocket and pulls out a small bullfrog, who begins to sing along with the rat's music.

While the man is enjoying his beverages, a stranger confronts him and offers him $100,000.00 for the bullfrog. "Sorry," the man replies, "he's not for sale." The stranger increases the offer to $250,000.00 cash up front. "No," he insists, "he's not for sale." The stranger again increases the offer, this time to $500,000.00 cash. The man finally agrees, and turns the frog over to the stranger in exchange for the money.

"Are you insane?" the bartender demanded. "That frog could have been worth millions to you, and you let him go for a mere $500,000!" "Don't worry about it." the man answered. "The frog was really nothing special. You see, the rat's a ventriloquist."

Songs like Shower me with your love. Anniversary, Pretty Brown Eyes. Lets Get Married. I know those songs are not that old, but over the last five years slow jams went down hill. Can you name a song from that era.

The Holy Spirit is the power of God—not a personage, consciousness, entity, part of the godhead or part of a Trinity. It is the mind and essence of the divine nature and the spiritual extension of God through which He carries out His will. Bestowed upon or poured out upon individuals, it imparts begettal by God as His children. God's Spirit empowers the mind to comprehend spiritual matters, producing conversion. It leads us into all truth; convicts us of sin and righteousness; and imparts faith, the love of God, power to overcome sin and other gifts essential to do His will. It is the earnest or guarantee of eternal life.
