I have a large (2,500 row) sheet in which I need to insert a considerable number of blank rows, then copy the contents of the row above into this. I select the rows I need to perform this operation on using an IF statement which inserts the word 'both' into a cell if a condition is met. I then filter the column which contains this cell so I end up with a filtered list of between 2 and 300 rows. Currently I use a short macro:

Sub InsertCopyRow()
ActiveCell.Offset(1, 0).EntireRow.Insert
ActiveCell.EntireRow.Copy ActiveCell.Offset(1, 0).EntireRow
End Sub

to perform this operation, but I have to run the macro manually on each selected row, which is quite time consuming.

Is there a way of automating it so that the macro will run on every row where the target cell contains the word 'both', as in:

=IF(H1="both","run macro 'InsertCopyRow'","") ?

Basically, I need to find out whether there is a link between asthma cases and air quality in the past 20 years and present it in a report. I've been up since 7am trying to complete it but I can't find and relevant information.

If you could, please link me to websites about;
-the effects of bad air quality/pollution
-graph showing the number of asthma cases/sufferers in the past 20 years
-graph showing air quality/pollution in the last 20 years or so
-explanations for the graphs

And anything else that will help me answer the question.

Thanks

In 1939 Hitler was intent East..not West. Was it possible that if we had not confronted him in September 1939-April 1940 (Phoney War) he would have attacked with a free hand into Russia and won. Thus giving him a lasting victory, peace in Europe and living room he needed.
We should have defended ourselves but not waged war.
We did in fact successfully defend GB
Our Empire would have been strong and Japan would not have seen the chance to attack.
Therefore in hindsight accepted we could have avoided WW2 and legacy we now inhabit.
Its just worth discussing...as it is a different way...War was NOT inevitable...it was waged
The enemy of my enemy is not MY friend in my book.
The double standards as history has been writen by the West since 1945 is obvious to me
1/Nazi Germany-Evil genocidal bastards to be totally wiped out with salivation
2/Mother Russia kindly occupiers.Uncle Joe...ahhh nice old grandfather

Thankyou for some great answers that have put me right on some things

It occurs to me that the exodus of ignorant, abused, peasants out of Mexico and into America (thus, their becoming felons in this country) needs to be addressed at the source... I am told that the Mexican government is racist against it's own people; corrupt, and that it has Mafia tactics. Okay. Why can't America, through all of its billions of tax dollars(which we are throwing at a useless war in Iraq in the name of "National Security"), redirect that money by backing some Mexican Freedom Fighters so that our borders can be secured, the Mexican government can be overturned, and Mexicans can be happier in their country and stay there? Simple, isn't it? What 's wrong with this plan? What would you do differently to keep Mexicans in Mexico?

FYI

I have no problems with legal Mexican immigrants in America...just the flood of illegal Mexicans into this country.

God has everything planned for me.. and his plan is always the best. But that is only because He's got it planned out for me, right? I love and respect God but I'm a little irritated now because I had to let go of a boyfriend that i love and care for so much.. and YES, it was my fault for letting things get out of hand and yes, it was my fault for making it my priority. I admit that i should have let God handle it.. But apparently, according to my praying and stuff, it is not what God has planned him.

So i'm willing to let him go because i believe that God has so much more planned out for him. Someone who won't make it complicated. Someone who will make him happy.

I just wished it was me.

we both love each other very much, but this is the best i can do for him.

i'm just mad he wasn't the one.. and i wasn't the one for him.
i guess i can't change God's mind.
but i can still want him and love him right?
PLease someone.. some advice please

SIOUX CITY, Iowa — Democratic presidential frontrunner Hillary Clinton’s campaign admitted Friday that it planted a global warming question in Newton, Iowa, Tuesday during a town hall meeting to discuss clean energy.

Clinton campaign spokesman Mo Elliethee admitted that the campaign had planted the question and said it would not happen again.

"On this occasion a member of our staff did discuss a possible question about Senator Clinton's energy plan at a forum,” Elliethee said.

“However, Senator Clinton did not know which questioners she was calling on during the event. This is not standard policy and will not be repeated again.”

In a state where the caucus is held sacred and the impromptu and candid style of the town hall meeting is held dear, Clinton’s planted question may come as a great offense to Iowans.

According to a report on the Grinnell University Web site, the Clinton campaign arranged for some of the questions for the candidate to be asked by college students:

"On Tuesday Nov. 6, the Clinton campaign stopped at a biodiesel plant in Newton as part of a weeklong series of events to introduce her new energy plan. The event was clearly intended to be as much about the press as the Iowa voters in attendance, as a large press core helped fill the small venue....

"After her speech, Clinton accepted questions. But according to Grinnell College student Muriel Gallo-Chasanoff ’10, some of the questions from the audience were planned in advance. 'They were canned,' she said. Before the event began, a Clinton staff member approached Gallo-Chasanoff to ask a specific question after Clinton’s speech. 'One of the senior staffers told me what [to ask],' she said.

"Clinton called on Gallo-Chasanoff after her speech to ask a question: what Clinton would do to stop the effects of global warming. Clinton began her response by noting that young people often pose this question to her before delving into the benefits of her plan.

"But the source of the question was no coincidence — at this event 'they wanted a question from a college student,' Gallo-Chasanoff said."

The tape of the event shows that the question and answer went as follows:

Question: "As a young person, I'm worried about the long-term effects of global warming How does your plan combat climate change?

Clinton: "Well, you should be worried. You know, I find as I travel around Iowa that it's usually young people that ask me about global warming."

The campaign's admission that it planted the question may be another blow to the New York senator's image as a trustworthy politician

I tried the "eat vanilla ice cream" trick, but I think it is worst, because I felt so thirsty afterwards. This is irritating! I am teaching. And the parents thought I was being arrogant on purpose.
