I have not been able to find an answer to this problem so hopefully there's some tax gurus here that can help me out.

Here's the situation, these numbers are not accurate but should give an idea of the problem. Say I make 60k a year. The IRS says that medical expenses have to be at least 7% (?) of your income before they can be deducted. That would be $4200. I have payroll deduction for my medical insurance of $3000.00. That money is taken out pre-tax so that can't be used as a deduction. However I have $3000.00 of medical bills throughout the years. That is below the $4200.00 the IRS would allow for a deduction so I can't deduct it. However if I didn't have the medical insurance taken out of my paycheck pre-tax, that would give a total medical bills of $6000.00 and all of that would be deductable. I've spoken with my HR dept and they can't take the insurance out post tax. Is there anyway to deduct these additional medical expenses? Hopefully I explained this correctly.

My husband and me didn't get a honeymoon, because of his family visiting. I didn't mind at the time. But now weve been considering going on a private honeymoon just the two of us, without our 4 year old or the babies I'm pregnant with. We would need to be within an hours driving distance because of our son and the babies I'm pregnant with. My family will be taking care of the kids for us.

There is a place in Sedona, Arizona that is a resort. you can get a mud wrap, full body massage, exercise, wireless internet the whole works. This sounds like a heavenly place for us to go and have a private romantic time.

Opinions Please.

in my govt class we are being taught that there are 12 courts of appeals +1-that 13 is technically not an acceptable answer but saying 12 doesnt say enough-why is this? also is this just for state courts of appeals or federal courts of appeals as well?

It never ceases to amaze me how some people in life seems to be taking things so seriously that they never stop to consider the one thing that is most important......

ARE WE HAVING FUN YET?
and if so, please, can you give me 3 examples?

And as for those who want to scorn me, bless you all.....

Happy Day and Blessed Be!

Reading through Frizzer's thread about Alex being underpaid, I saw a couple of references to the fact that he has no rings (ie. championships). Given that baseball is more team-based than any of the other major sports, does this measurement make any sense?

Ty Cobb never won a ring. Neither did Ted Williams. Does that really tarnish their greatness, or how they should be judged if they were still signing contracts? Would anyone really place more a premium on guys just for being on a winning team like Luis Sojo or Johnny Murphy?

It just seems that using "rings" as a judgment in baseball is illogical, based on the nature of the sport.

The pond has a waterfall and a submersible pump running all the time so I don't envision the water freezing over. I am just wondering if anyone knows if the plecko fish can survive winter temperatures. We live in Pennsylvania, so it can get very cold in the winter. It is only in the 40s today. Any info anyone has is appreciated.

What you say doesn't matter at all. If you don't feel they are a number 1 team, well good for you but it's not going to change the standings so stop showing how classless you are and just watch football.

If the Buckeyes win out and win against a good team in the National Championship they will have proved they belong there, and all your talking will be for nothing. I'm sure someone how you will still talk trash even if the Buckeyes beat a big team like LSU and it will still mean nothing.

I know you will be jerks if it's LSU & they beat the Buckeyes, that just shows what kind of people you really are, I guarantee even with all your crap, we will still be more gracious winners if we win the championship.

If they don't I'm just glad they had a great season, I have seen some of the people who have comitted already for the next few years and man we have some good teams coming.

There is still 2 weeks left so it's stupid to say who will be in there and who will win, just watch.

When I go on the DLR why do some trains have operators where they lift the panel up by the front seat window and appear to press some buttons, whereas on other trains they do not have operators.

Confused.

Don't you think they should compete for non-believers and whoever makes the best offer wins? You know, kinda like that commercial where banks compete with each other to give you a loan.

LOL
