Do you know how to convince your parents to let you get another dog?

I really really want one... but I just wanted some advice from experienced people! I have tried a million times, and I haven't had any luck! Thanks in advance!

When you say "another" dog, I assume you have one dog already?

I'd say the best way is to prove to them that you're responsible enough to take care of it. If you have a dog now, show them how commited you are to the dog and it's well being. Actions speak much louder than words. ; )

It's your parent's home and would be their responsibility for vet bills, feeding, grooming, etc. Perhaps another dog isn't in their current budget... dogs cost more than you think... every year when i take my dog to the vet, it's more than $150 for her vaccinations, heartworm and flea treatment supplies...that doesn't include other things such as grooming, food and possible extra trips to the vet.

Maybe wait a while, and ask again? If your parents say "no" i suppose they have good reason.

First off, take on all responsibility for the dog you have now. Baths, feeding, cleaning up after it etc. If your parents dont have to worry about taking care of another it wont seem like such a big deal for them.

a)you can say that your dog is getting lonely without another dog. b)He needs to relate with other dogs and comunicate with them. c)I've been taking good responsiblity for this dog why not another one. d)Mom i'm getting older and i think i know how to decide on my own. well really it depends on what yoor parents are like but id say to make themlaogh a=be responsible you know like I LOVE YOU MOM thats when they say wat do you want dont awnser at first but show responsibility and it will eventually work
