Then why is it 50 degrees in Florida in November? Those temps don't usually hit til January.

Maybe someone was testing glaciers on the hottest day of summer? LOL

Global Warming IS happening...it has been happening for over 10,000 years since half of North America was covered by glaciers.

Interesting that the glaciers' retreat which started 10,000 years ago is magically now the work of man.

At some point in time the masses must learn that the earth controls man's fate not visa versa

Even people who believe in global warming say that it is only half a degree warmer over last 100 years. No change since 1998.

I have a hard time getting all upset over a half a degree. Lets just wait another 100 years a see what happens.

Not only that, but they've been having problems with freezes in the winter like they haven't had in years past.

I think, as a result, the whackos have changed their label from 'global warming' to 'climate change' since they can't consistantly back up the whole global warming thing.

And golly, I don't know why we can't control the Earths weather.

Texas had a pretty mild summer this year and we have had low temps already as low as 37 degrees about a week ago...I LOVE cool weather!

For those who do not know, it is NOT uncommon to run your air conditioner on Christmas in Texas.

In years past, it has been in the 50's in South Florida in November. I use to take my kids camping in Nov. and we got caught in some really chilly weather here. And it is not unknown to have my fireplace burning on Thanksgiving Day. I love it cooler. WooHoo.

"Global warming is real"
-George W. Bush-
People when even GWB says global warming is real maybe you should pay attention.

One of the biggest threats of global warming is a change in the flow of Gulf Stream which helps to provide a temperate climate to the Northern Hemisphere so instead of warming of temperatures could actually spawn a new ice age.

All those melting glaciers cool the air.....?

Don't those news stations that count carbon credits everyday look stuuuuupid?

The theory is based on calculations of average temperatures in many locations over a long period of time. However, the melting ice caps are visible and dramatic proof that this is more than a "cyclical" variation.
